Hey, everybody. Welcome back to the EquipCast. Jim Jansen here. So we have taken a deliberate break over the last few months, a little longer than our typical summer break, but today I am incredibly excited to welcome you back and to dive into the mission with you. If you've been with us for a while, you might notice that things look and feel just a little different around here. But before we look forward, I wanna take a moment and look back. We actually started this podcast all the way back in 2020. And it really began as a way for us to stay connected with parish leaders who were trying to navigate the storm of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was our job to serve them and this was a way to stay connected. Over the years, it grew into something much bigger than we ever anticipated. Now, as many of you know, my season serving as the director of the parish support team within the Archdiocese of Omaha came to a close this past spring, and I just wanna take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to the Archdiocese It was such a privilege to serve , the priests, the pastors, the parish leaders, all the people of God here in Northeast Nebraska for the last nine years. I am so grateful for the work and the fun, all the friendships that I built, and the mission that we shared there. But the mission doesn't stop. It is time for a new chapter. So this summer I set out on my own as a full-time coach and consultant, and I knew we couldn't let this conversation die. So thanks to the kindness of the archdiocese, the podcast is coming with me. I turned the page, and today we are launching a brand new chapter for The EquipCast, now powered by everydayevangelization.org. So again, I'm so grateful for the archdiocese. They worked with me so that this ministry could continue. The EquipCast is now an independent production powered by everydayevangelization.org, and it is no longer affiliated with the Archdiocese of Omaha. So moving forward, this show has a singular laser-focused purpose, to deliver practical evangelization strategies, parish renewal insights, and real ministry tools that you can use. I can be a little academic and nerdy sometimes but we aren't here to talk about abstract theories. We're here to talk about what it actually takes on the ground to stop simply managing decline, to break through the cycle of empty activity, and to start making disciples. So if you're a diocesan leader trying to move the needle, if you're a parish leader trying to shift a culture, or a missionary disciple just trying to figure out how to pass the faith on in a messy world, this is your home. We know that missionary and ministry work is demanding, and you shouldn't have to walk it alone. In fact, if you head over to everydayevangelization.org, you're gonna find a newly updated specialized resource page packed with tools built specifically for leaders like you. This is where the team and I at Anchor Consulting come alongside you to help you diagnose your blind spots, plan your strategy, and train your people for the messy middle of church renewal. So our first episode drops here in just a bit, and we are hitting the ground running. Thank you for listening. I am so glad you're back with us. Let's go.
