(0s) Well, hello, everybody, and welcome to episode 13 of the unpaid and underrated podcast and podcast for crew by crew about crew featuring crew, Massanomics crew crew crew crew crew. (24s) And not so much mocked this week. (26s) They kind of laid off of us this week. (28s) I think John better really. (30s) Had an episode. Everybody kind of just didn't find a lot to bother me about. (38s) Yeah, I just want to say like I notice I notice when I'm not being mocked in the discord. (44s) I am joined by Big Keith. You guys have heard of him before. (48s) Hello. Some people know me as orange glaze. (52s) Now we've got big Andrew. (55s) Hey there, I would like to point out that I did take it. (1m) I'm going to call you Andrew Andy Klotron. (1m 7s) What do we call it? (1m 8s) Yeah. (1m 9s) I'm going to call you Andrew Andy Klotron. (1m 14s) What do we call it? (1m 15s) Yeah. (1m 16s) I'm going to call you Andrew Andy Klotron. (1m 21s) What do we call it? (1m 22s) Yeah. (1m 23s) Oh, just call me Andrew. (1m 30s) All right, big Andrew it is. (1m 33s) So first and foremost, what are you guys drinking? (1m 36s) I have got a mango spin drift. (1m 40s) I have not tried this one yet. (1m 41s) So let's get a little quick dive right out of it. (1m 46s) Oh, I don't like that. (1m 48s) That's that's weird. (1m 51s) Oh, yeah. (1m 54s) I've never seen such an immediate reaction. (1m 57s) more mango than orange like a little tart a lot a lot tart. (2m) Have you had spin drifts before? (2m 2s) Ah, if I have they weren't memorable. I'm sure I'm sure I have but they're not in like my go to like two or three brands that I'm like, okay, I know I can trust like seven of these flavors of this brand. It's it's definitely not one of those. (2m 16s) Yeah, they use juice in it and that. (2m 18s) Okay. (2m 19s) Yeah, I like the essence flavor, not the juice. (2m 23s) Yeah, I didn't realize this was juice. (2m 25s) So it's like a non alcoholic mimosa. (2m 28s) Yeah, I thought it was Oh, that sounds awful. (2m 31s) Sugar or anything in it. (2m 32s) I don't know. (2m 33s) It looks like it's no added sugar probably, (2m 35s) but it's probably got like real life sugar. (2m 37s) Yeah, if it's got juice, definitely. (2m 39s) OK, well, I would not buy this one again. (2m 41s) That's for sure. (2m 43s) I'm drinking a Keith. (2m 44s) So I'm not even going to mess around tonight. (2m 45s) I'm Keith's. (2m 47s) Nice. (2m 49s) So for this momentous occasion, I decided I'd get a drink that honors each one of you. (2m 56s) Oh, so for for Joey, (3m) all IPA got that in my hell, yeah, in my koozie. (3m 3s) That's where I'm going right now. (3m 6s) I would have liked to have Keats, (3m 7s) but I have never ever seen it down here in Southern California. (3m 10s) So and you won't. (3m 12s) Yeah, that's that's it. (3m 14s) And so once that's done for Keith, (3m 17s) I am going to drink this hard orange mountain dew, zero sugar. (3m 23s) Yeah, zero sugar, so it's healthy. (3m 25s) That's intriguing. (3m 27s) I have never seen these in Southern California, but... (3m 30s) My younger brother in Arizona had them when I went there for Thanksgiving. (3m 35s) He did not like the orange. I took the orange. (3m 38s) And this, perhaps, is a Masters or Sub Masters thing, but it tastes exactly like orange triomenic from the 80s, (3m 46s) which is the medicine that all of us had in the 80s. (3m 50s) So, good memories with that flavor. (3m 54s) Well, that was definitely a good hold on to. (3m 57s) you know, now did you anticipate that you were going to get called? (4m) up to the big leagues for one on this episode that you were going to save it for that or you just, uh, you know, something you had in your fridge and you haven't gotten to I took it because I wanted to drink it and I and it's just been it's just been sitting around. (4m 15s) I kind of don't drink as much as I used to, but I figured for tonight. Yeah, we'll do it. Yeah, it was faded. Yeah, can you get the broken skull out there? Yeah, yeah, it's everywhere. I mean, Elsa Gondo is where it's brewed. Oh, so then. Oh, yeah, they're in California because he's from Texas and I always get confused because it's actually hard to find close to the Canadian border. Oh, yeah, in Ohio that we had to like drive around to find it and in New York. (4m 44s) It was the same thing like it's not everywhere. Yeah, just about every grocery store has it now. So, well, lucky you. It's delicious. (4m 53s) What are you wearing? What do you guys got? (5m) I got the raw power shirt on to it's the first shirt I purchased from Massanomics and I love it. It's my favorite. It really pops. I love the colors. I love how it was just over the top. It is I try to wear it everywhere. (5m 19s) It's pretty ridiculous. A couple times my wife has said, are you wearing that? I thought it was fine. Yeah, I don't care whose wedding this is. (5m 30s) It's casual Friday. It'll be right. That is one that actually I hadn't worn that one in a while, but mostly because I just can't find it. (5m 39s) You know, and it's in the vault right now. And what worries me is that I'm going to wear this out and then not be able to get it again. (5m 49s) And I'm sure the boys will re-release it at some point probably on blue, you know, real original. Yeah, a different blank that doesn't fit right. So screw yourself not by two. (6m) That's a tricky part. It's like when you find one that fits perfect, like just buy another one. Just buy another one and like don't even open it. Just leave it leave it in drawer deal with it, you know. (6m 9s) But I haven't had anywhere out, but granted like my oldest Massanomics shirts like three years old maybe. I mean, definitely got some letters faded. I think one of my lift shorts is probably the most worn. (6m 19s) I have a couple pair that don't even fit anymore, but when I was wearing them, they were like 80% completely gone with like the lift logo. None of my pairs fit anymore. (6m 28s) I'm rocking it. (6m 30s) I'm going to be running out of shirts that bit. So, like a lot of these are going to be repetitive where I can wear medium and look good. I'm going to be running out of shirts. I'm going to be running out of shirts that bit. So, like a lot of these are going to be repetitive where I can wear medium and look good. (7m) And like it might fit, but when I want to be comfortable, I have to wear a large and I don't have a lot of larges. And when I'm recording, I'm going to be comfortable. I don't care how I look. So, a lot of repetitive shirts coming out of me. (7m 14s) Well, I'm starting to get that way with extra large 2X. So, yeah, I've mentioned it before. I like it. Let's just get bigger. Let's just get bigger. It'll be fine. I just get a little bigger. And then like now I'm re buying shirts. (7m 31s) Yeah, I keep, I keep swinging the spindruff thinking it's not going to taste fucking horrendous. And it tastes horrendous every sip, but I'm. Yeah, yeah, I am. (7m 41s) Jeff, Jeff, I'm still wearing big trons orange, orange glasses there. They were a hit. This is the light therapy ones that are a lot more like they're like a hundred percent. Yeah, very orange. (7m 53s) But I have been wearing the the actual blue blockers have been my pretty much driven home every day wearing them and depending on. (8m 1s) What time it is in the morning, if it's pitch black, I'm not going to wear them. But if it's at least the sun's coming up, I'll put them on just super, just, I don't know, definitely make me more alert. Like, if it's just a hair dark, it's like, okay, I can actually see what's on the other side of the road now. But I've been definitely opting to wear those for my regular sunglasses. So, thanks again, big tron. Really appreciate that. (8m 18s) Well, you don't you don't want to wear those too much like blue light is bad for you, maybe in the last two hours of your day. Okay. But like blue light exists on the UV spectrum for a reason. (8m 30s) So mostly when you're looking at screens, you want to wear them? Yeah, especially, like I said, about one to two hours before bed and your iPhone and actually any of your rack products will have a blue light filter built in. Yeah, I, I have mine at like, you can, I basically have a warm. I feel like at eight or nine PM, it goes to warm, but it's still. Yeah, it's in comparison to having these fuckers on. No, it's like, it's like, oh, I'm still seeing a lot of blue. Yeah. (8m 54s) I have a sack, guys. Oh, is it a tramp sack or. (9m) You know, is it a Canadian full Monty, you know, just un unkempt sack. Okay, so I have, I'm actually, I cut it open earlier. I got my blood everywhere. I got my fancy blade with a Rams horn that I used to open it because that's my desk knife. (9m 21s) And I actually haven't looked at it yet. This comes from Big Scott, Big Scott dog. Yeah, Big Hot sent me this one. I don't know what's in it yet. So we're going to find out. (9m 31s) How large of a sack do you have there? It's, it's a big box. It's substantial, but it's light. It's very very light. And we're going to try and not, I'm going to try and not look. (9m 42s) Okay, I'm going to find the letter first. All right, I see what's in there. There's a letter. Okay, look at the letter first. Nice. (9m 49s) I'm kind of seeing what's in there, but I have any details. Who that? Oh, look who it is. (9m 56s) We got a lucky Lou. (9m 58s) All right, self. (10m) sex. I mean, he's, we, we have a, a, a, a voyeur that just showed up to look at Joey Sach. Big, big, big, big, strong, a joint just for a little visual, uh, section, if you will. (10m 11s) Now, Joey Sach brings all the boys to the yard. Okay. So I don't know how my, my thing says, (10m 18s) but that is the Dodds, Zilla, down with dungeon. Nice says unpaid and underrated podcast. Hey, (10m 24s) Joey, please enjoy the Dodds, Zilla, deadlift dungeon shirts. The black shirt is custom (10m 30s) by me, myself. I fancy myself the best in the land at cutting shirts. Thanks for introducing me to all these crew members this last year, as well as having me on the podcast. Thanks for the hours of chatting with other people that, even though I've never met, most I now consider friends all due to your podcast. July is going to be one to remember. Big joy. I expected deadlift PR pulled while wearing one of these. Keep your head on a swivel at the lift hard live easy meat, brother. I have a sneaky RKO with your name on it. (11m) And he has an unpaid or underrated with us. Unpaid or underrated wearing a mass nomic singlet to a mass nomic's power lift. Is that like wearing a kiss T to a kiss concert? (11m 12s) So I'll give you guys all the chance to answer that. Keep up the great work. Scott Dodds, (11m 17s) AKA Dodds, Zilla, big, hot, and the first supporter number one. He also sent me some stickers from the deadlift dungeon. Uh, because him and I have joked about how I always joke the power lifters call everything their dungeon. (11m 30s) Now, those are probably plate snack snickers stickers. I'm not 100% (11m 34s) go ahead and say they are. And, you know, you know, go ahead and use code unpaid at plate snacks to get some big hot stickers. (11m 42s) And a rookie card. Oh, sweet. He sent me his rookie cards. So let's go look at these shirts, guys. (11m 50s) All right. Tron to kill your audio, but you got to meet yourself. Sorry. Okay. Big We got to turn into big scans. (12m) I'm going to hold on and turn off this background because it's effective. (12m 10s) I'm struggling to see what you're showing us. (12m 12s) Oh, sick. (12m 14s) It's got Dodd's deadlift dungeon strongman Jim. (12m 18s) He's holding a log with some skulls on it. (12m 21s) It looks like in his logo. (12m 23s) Nice. (12m 24s) Obsidian ammonia code unpaid. (12m 26s) And then also code unpaid. (12m 28s) code unpaid. And then here's the (12m 30s) black one. Oh, look at that. So it's also got dots. (12m 34s) Nice. (12m 35s) Deadlifted with this red lift hat. Look at the red lift hat. He's had to throw that word out. Now that's something he's going to be so mad when I finally wears that out and he gets like so stinky with just sweat. Because he lives in that thing, I think, to only a special occasions. (12m 50s) Okay, he saves it. So he's kind of milking it for a prolonged life. (12m 54s) That's smart. And how how'd that work out perfectly? Joy was just talking about having minimal fitting shirts. And he just got (13m) in the mail. Yeah, that was pretty dope. So guys, do you wear the massonomics singlet to the massonomics meet? Like, is that I do kiss kiss army? I think I think crew is definitely greater. Greater than kiss army as far as like, it's it's more more tight knit, whereas like, kiss doesn't give a fuck about the kiss army kiss isn't intermingling with the fucking kiss army. (13m 26s) But like, like we bought the tool band, the tool fans for wearing tool in a perfect circle shirt. (13m 30s) I think it's a night and day difference. (13m 32s) We're literally all friends. (13m 34s) There's 300 of us and 100 of us are going to go show up and hang out together. (13m 38s) That's not the same. (13m 40s) We don't. (13m 41s) What is it? (13m 42s) What was the movie someone was asking me about this week? (13m 44s) 40 year old Virgin wasn't it? (13m 46s) And so the scene in that is like putting the pussy on the pedestal, I think. (13m 50s) Wasn't that a scene? (13m 51s) So like that's what people do to bands. (13m 53s) We don't do that to Tommy and Tanner necessarily. (13m 55s) Like I don't put them on a pedestal to you. (13m 57s) to you. We'll get there just like our buddy. (14m) So I don't, I don't feel that's the same thing. (14m 3s) You don't put the Tommy out of pedestal. (14m 6s) What do you think, Andrew? (14m 8s) I don't know the way the way Keith reacted to the Tommy Shakira thing. (14m 12s) Maybe. (14m 14s) But I do agree with Keith, though. (14m 18s) I mean, that's always been a rule for it for every band. (14m 21s) You don't wear the band shirt to the concert, but I'm not going to watch (14m 26s) Tanner and Tommy do anything. (14m 28s) You know, I (14m 30s) like keep the same. (14m 32s) We're all going. (14m 32s) So are we all part of the band in a certain (14m 37s) that's a good point. (14m 38s) Yeah, like I'm not playing guitar for kids. (14m 40s) Yeah. (14m 41s) You know, maybe we're all on tambourine for (14m 45s) just doing our little part. (14m 48s) John, any input? (14m 49s) No, yeah, I just wanted to pop in and see if Keith is still wearing the glasses. (14m 52s) But but yeah, no, you definitely we do not (14m 56s) idolize or purify. (15m 1s) So, so definitely. Okay. So it sounds like the consensus is go ahead and wear your Massanomics singlet. (15m 8s) Well, I hope so because I got one. Well, I got two now technically. Thank you, big scan. (15m 13s) All right. So that was my sax segment. Hey, man. Thanks, big Scott. Big hot, big duds. (15m 19s) They'll rhyme. (15m 20s) Well, I'd say before we kick big Trond off, let's go and talk about any feedback. We got some I'm just crew. Everyone listening now, it's been like a week and a half, I think, (15m 31s) once the song came out, I've listened to it literally four or five times a day just out of like, I don't know, like it's it pipes me up, man. I don't know. Like if I'm having a shitty day, I'm a driving home from work. I'm like, I just need to jam out to sign. (15m 42s) I'm just crew and just like completely take all the stress away. I mean, I did lift to it the other day, but that was more just for Instagram. I don't know that I can really get super pumped to it, but it's a chill song because it reminds me that like, I've got this huge circle of friends that got my back and it's just like, I don't know, it's just it's part of something bigger than me. So that song has really been said. (16m 1s) I really enjoyed it. I hope we can get some kind of video made. I know no one has time to edit that together. I'm even thinking like it'd be cool to just do like a what is a three minute song. So just literally make up a slide show of pictures from the last year of just like crew stuff and even even if that's the video like I don't even care like like that would be worth it just like like 50 pictures from like people interacting other crew crew interacting with each other that was just the video would be easy enough to make you think. (16m 27s) But I think it would be cool to do like a legit video. (16m 31s) And like really make it funny, but I don't know who's got time for that anybody got time for that. Yeah, Andrew. Have you listened to this on yet? Oh, yeah. Yeah. (16m 41s) So I heard the (16m 45s) The version on the podcast Tuesday, you know, without any background music and then (16m 53s) Yesterday I listened to it with the music and I like I mean, I liked it a lot with the music. It builds. (17m 1s) It kind of pumps you up, I think. It's it's so over the top, though. I love it. Yeah, that's why. (17m 10s) The hard part for me was like the lyrics change like every stance or whatever. So then like I keep wanting to say, I'm just crew and so are you. (17m 18s) And that's only the lyrics like one time. So I get it wrong. Like every other time. I'm like, I'm shocked. It didn't go. I'm just crew and I'm just a silly goose. (17m 26s) Like that was an easy rhyme that I think I keep singing and then looking at the lyrics going. (17m 31s) I don't think there's a way in there. (17m 33s) Well, Joey, you have kids, so you'll relate to this where maybe my daughter will sing a song and just like kind of make up, you know, what she thinks the words are. (17m 49s) So maybe that's what we all can do is just, you know, Tron was the visionary behind this all. (17m 56s) And we can take it and make it our own, but that's what... (18m 1s) - Cruise all about, you just... (18m 5s) - I don't know, we have the original artist here. (18m 8s) He may not appreciate such things. (18m 9s) - Yeah, he's don't mess with my art, he says. (18m 12s) - No, I'm saying absolutely. (18m 14s) The more weird Al takes on a weird Al song you can make, (18m 21s) the better the world will be. (18m 24s) - All right, Keith, tell me about... (18m 26s) Tell us about your thing of a go there. (18m 27s) You're strong on the thing you do. (18m 28s) the meat was this side to the strong man show. (18m 31s) So I think big Chris summed it up like I was, I thought I was going to just eat shit on all the events or not be able to complete them or not be able to do the entry weight. (18m 42s) But I did everything I had anticipated. (18m 44s) I exceeded my expectations and completed everything. (18m 48s) You know, did I come in 10th out of 12th people? (18m 50s) Yeah, but it's my first strong man show. (18m 53s) Didn't know what I was doing. (18m 54s) Had to literally never touched like 80% of the implements before that day. (18m 58s) So it was a stiffboard deadlift, worked up to a small... (19m 1s) ...PBR on that hook grip, which probably wasn't the smartest thing, 'cause I ended up ripping the shit out of my thumb, which affected me on... (19m 7s) Did you use straps at that? (19m 9s) You could, but I wanted... (19m 11s) I knew what I could pull, and I really wanted to actually be able to say, "Okay, I have a new stiff-bar deadlift PR down, and if I had done straps, I wouldn't have counted it, 'cause I don't pull on straps." (19m 20s) But now that I got out of the way, and if I do another strong man thing, yeah, looking back now, I should have just used fucking straps, and not even that I could have pulled much more of a straps, but I could have saved my fucking thoughts. (19m 31s) 'Cause when I had to do the farmer's carries, I dropped the fucking implement twice, one was with my right hand, which my right hand is a better grip, but I had a fucking bandaid and tape on it, and it just was like, you know, throbbing pain, so that affected that. (19m 44s) So the deadlift went fine. (19m 48s) Log, log an actual medley was 165 for reps back and forth, under a minute, or at a minute, I ended up getting three reps total. (19m 58s) Total I probably could have got a fourth. I was just I was literally like was so good (20m 1s) that I was just walking back and forth to the implements. Everybody else was like sprinting. (20m 4s) So I was like, I definitely lost probably 10 or 15 seconds, just kind of like casually, (20m 9s) like walking and catching my breath. Stones first time I ever picked up a stone was in warmups and it was 150 pounds. Lapped it and got it over a 50 inch bar. And then the lowest option for the weight was 200. It was either 200 or 240. And I was like, well, I'm gonna go to 200. And I didn't I didn't even try to actually pick it up during warm-ups. (20m 29s) Well, I lapped it during warm-ups, (20m 31s) I didn't want to blow my wad and try to go over the bar with it if that's all I had. (20m 35s) Because I had just had no clue what I'd be able to get. (20m 37s) So, I ended up being second on Stones and I didn't want to wear tacky, which worked out good, (20m 42s) because the thing wasn't that tacky. (20m 44s) It didn't have a bunch of tacky on it, (20m 45s) so I wasn't just familiar with how tacky works and just gets all over you and shit. (20m 48s) I wasn't trying to deal with that. (20m 50s) So, I got the first rep, super surprised I got it, (20m 54s) and like, I don't know, like seven or eight seconds to get through it over. (20m 57s) Got one more, was very surprised. (20m 59s) And then like my lats in my back. (21m 1s) Just kind of locked up and I was like, yeah, I'm good. (21m 3s) I had 30 seconds left and I definitely could have got one or two more reps if I like was feeling good, but I wasn't feeling good. (21m 9s) So I was like, I was like, yep, I'm good. (21m 11s) Thanks guys. (21m 12s) So finish that up. (21m 13s) That went into the farmer's carry and who's to felt medally. (21m 19s) Farmer's carry was 200 a hand. (21m 21s) The who's to felt was 220. (21m 23s) It was like down and back with, you know, one and then down back with the other. (21m 27s) Like, I don't know, 30, 50 feet, something like we call it called 40 feet. (21m 32s) Drops the drop the farmers because of my hand will be in a fucked up. (21m 35s) But they had a rule of like, as long as you dropped it in like the first, like five feet, (21m 38s) they'd let you pick it back up. (21m 39s) But if you dropped it like halfway down, they, you know, it was pretty much over. (21m 42s) So let me finish that. (21m 43s) And then I dropped it like as I was crossing the finish line too. (21m 45s) And I was like, oh, they didn't count that because like the one hand was definitely over. (21m 48s) Or like the one implement was over. (21m 49s) But the other one, I kind of like slid over as I was falling forward. (21m 52s) But they're like, yeah, yeah, you're good. (21m 53s) And then I just fucking literally just picked up the who's to felt and like super easy, surprisingly. (21m 57s) But then like kind of waddled my fat ass down down with it. (22m 1s) So when I like watched my buddies videos after the fact, I'm like, fuck, like I'm stronger than some of you guys. (22m 7s) Because like I literally outperformed you in all these other events. (22m 9s) And then like you literally just like sprinted when I had to like could barely walk down. (22m 14s) So I was super interesting to see like kind of like empowering, how you can be really good at one and kind of suck at the other and all that. (22m 20s) So like seeing that play out and strongman was interesting because I've never actually like I think I went and helped my buddy at one, but I've never really like paid attention on like an amateur strongman. (22m 30s) But it was a blast. (22m 31s) They ended up raising like almost 10 grand for the guy's charity too. (22m 34s) So anyway, if anyone had donated to that, really appreciate that. (22m 37s) And I can definitely see myself doing it again, like that level, like I'm not going to try to like sign up for like probably like regular strongman shows where the novice class weights are probably out of my reach or like right at the peak. (22m 50s) But they're going to this particular show, there's a lot of younger people that do it. (22m 54s) So they keep the novice weights like doable. (22m 57s) And they were like right in my wheelhouse of what I could do. (22m 59s) So as far as. (23m 1s) What I'm going to implement going forward my training that they come to keep some kind of clean and press. I can actually clean and press my basement just barely so I might keep that in as like an athletic overhead press versus just like a static overhead press just to kind of get like a little bit of fun cardio, if you will. (23m 17s) But yeah, and then my buddy Chris other crew destroyed his, you know, he, I think he fed one everything and definitely not be allowed to do novice again so he's, you know, gotta go play with the big boys next time. (23m 31s) Thank you, man. And congrats on raising that money for that. That's a good reason to do anything. Right. Absolutely. Yeah. Well, I watched all your videos on Instagram of, of you doing, doing all the events. (23m 44s) I thought it was pretty cool. I, I've always sort of wanted to kind of try that out and it was just neat seeing somebody who I consider might be, you know, similar level to me just not knowing anything about it. (23m 58s) and truly compete at it. I thought it was cool, man. Thanks, man. (24m 1s) I was definitely a power lifter out of water, basically. I was a fish out of water there for sure, (24m 5s) like, because they're like a very like close-knit group and like, like, all, like, all the dudes knew each other for the most part, like, like the veterans at least. So, which is similar to power lifting. It's just there didn't seem to be a much of an overlap. Like, I didn't see a sing. I saw one other dude that I knew from powerlifting. Other than that, it was just like a whole new crowd for me, (24m 25s) which is weird to like, no, there's this whole other fitness community in Rochester that's like, (24m 31s) okay, that's kind of cool. So, I can expand my horizons a little bit and, you know, make new connections and still fitness adjacent. Well, powerlifting adjacent, if you will. (24m 42s) Yeah, I remember watching your video and just yelling, get your hands over that rock. (24m 47s) Because you get the first stone you lifted, you still tried to hug it a little without, (24m 51s) and you weren't going over. And all I remember is being terrified. I was going to tear my bicep. (24m 57s) I've only lived in stones once. I'm not like some like expert, but I was just like (25m 2s) always going to hurt himself. Oh, no. Oh, no. And then you were fight. That's what I remember watching that. I definitely have a goal of so that one was 200 and they have a 240. I'm going to go and do a day pass one time when I train with my buddy there. I'm going to I'm fucking I'm getting that goddamn like I'm loading that 240 no matter what like this this year. Like I think I have that in me like I can I load more than 240? I don't know. But 240 is maybe doable. (25m 27s) Alright, don't. Good work. (25m 30s) You. (25m 30s) Ahh... (25m 32s) I wanna rate last week's episode, the bells of Steel episode. Yeah. With the guy who's... Did you catch it Andrew? Oh yeah, yeah. Um... (25m 42s) K-Kvon, I believe. Yeah. Thank you K-Von, yeah. Yeah, so um... (25m 50s) I like K-Von. Um... (25m 53s) He's always been really... (25m 58s) really good to the home-gen community. (26m 2s) You know, back when the garage gym reviews Facebook group was somewhere that was fun to be, (26m 11s) KVON would come in and he would always be very positive and you know give us glimpses as to what they were working on and such. I was somewhat disappointed that Tommy has listened to the new Blink-182 album. I was hoping that he could take that a little bit. (26m 32s) longer and I also was thinking that I was going to deduct either a shuffle or a nano for them not knowing, especially a Canadian not knowing about Boxing Day. (26m 47s) However, because in 2020 when I got a flat bench from Bells of Steel and Reviewed it on garage gym reviews Facebook group. (27m 2s) He saw it and decided that they would send me a shirt for free I'm going to give it five iPod. (27m 7s) Are we doing touches or we doing click wheels? (27m 10s) Massonomic gyms iPod, iPod touches. (27m 14s) Yeah. (27m 15s) I think Joey got confirmation that they had a little bit of everything. (27m 17s) Yeah. (27m 18s) So everything that nano's touches. (27m 20s) Yeah. (27m 21s) Click wheels. (27m 22s) We're, we're creating each other when we're here. (27m 24s) Yeah. (27m 25s) I didn't, I didn't see any of the special edition U two version of the click wheel. (27m 29s) The black and red one. (27m 30s) I mean that one was pretty rare. (27m 33s) Nobody fucking wanted it. (27m 34s) I know. (27m 35s) They gave me that song on my whole iPhone. (27m 39s) Yeah, I can't get that to go away. (27m 42s) They're like, congratulations. (27m 43s) Here's this for free. (27m 44s) And we're like, yeah, no one ever really wanted Bono. (27m 48s) Come on. (27m 49s) Yeah. (27m 50s) I feel like everyone's talked about that. (27m 51s) And like it was pretty me ever having an iPhone. (27m 53s) So I'm just like, oh, yeah, I remember that. (27m 55s) No, I didn't have an iPhone. (27m 56s) 2000. (27m 57s) Yeah, that was my first. (27m 58s) That was actually my first. (27m 59s) I didn't have an iPhone at the time. (28m 2s) I pod because I've talked about it before, how I had Android phone and iPod. (28m 8s) And then one day was like, I'm sick of carrying two things. (28m 11s) Yeah. (28m 12s) And yeah, they literally they forced it on you on with every software with that one software update. (28m 17s) And then you had to go and like remove settings to get rid of it. (28m 21s) It was pretty stupid. (28m 22s) Sounds super annoying. (28m 25s) I enjoyed last week's episode. (28m 28s) anything that you know talks about the twins you know it's (28m 32s) it's it's fun and memorable um cave on didn't sell me on buying anything from bells of steel though he just like not nothing against him he just he seemed like he had no I don't know if he was just super tired but he had like no passion about his company or what he does for a living and definitely made it sound like it's just like something that he just fell into and like begrudgingly is doing which I don't want to buy equipment from someone that looks at his company like that so I will probably never buy anything from him specifically for that episode so for that and having, you know, me avoid anything. (29m 2s) From Bells of Steel, I'll go ahead and give Tommy and Tanner and the Massanomics episode five iPod touches. (29m 6s) All right. (29m 7s) So hardcore disagree. (29m 9s) I buy a lot of stuff from Bells of Steel. (29m 11s) I have a great, a great fat bench from them. (29m 14s) My first power bar was from them. (29m 16s) I've got a crash mats from them. (29m 20s) They make very good low cost high quality stuff. (29m 24s) Yeah, I've heard that. (29m 25s) I've been to the Toronto showroom and I was the only one there. (29m 32s) And I don't know, like, I guess I don't not into this as you two might be. (29m 38s) But their showroom is legitimately you walk in and they go, Oh, yeah, there's the gym. (29m 43s) And you get to go just work out. (29m 46s) It's pretty cool. (29m 47s) And you just like, they're like, we don't care. (29m 48s) Just touch everything, lift everything. (29m 51s) And like, that's the coolest showroom I've ever been to. (29m 54s) And actually, when I bought the fat bench, I walked in and I was like, I want this. (30m) And the guy was like, we're out of stock. (30m 2s) And then I was like, oh, okay, I'll just investigate and bite online. (30m 6s) And he was like, okay, hold on, we have one because it wasn't released yet. (30m 10s) They sold it to me two days before it was released. (30m 13s) Oh, that's cool. (30m 14s) And it's like Gen 2 or something to it. (30m 17s) You probably got like a better version than what you would have had on the floor model. (30m 20s) Yeah, it's a great bench. (30m 22s) Their bare steel power bar is fantastic. (30m 25s) All of that said, I don't disagree with your assessment. (30m 30s) I don't think K-Von was that to A. (30m 32s) to be the owner of a $20 million home gym supplier, but that could also just be him trying not to be I'm the guy that owns a $20 million like he could have just been humble trying to be humble, or even exhausted because you also like you don't get to get there by accident, right. (30m 57s) So yeah, I don't disagree with your assessment there, but I would say don't let that get in the way (31m 2s) of going to a belt. You come up here, because it's up here, right? And that will come to your gym, (31m 8s) then you come up to the Bells of Steel showroom. We'll do a video up here. Steve wants to go, (31m 12s) because he wants their pillars. So him and I have been planning to go there. He actually left a comment on their Facebook and tagged Massanomics. And Massanomics responded with, Hey, thanks, (31m 25s) big Steve. And he was just like, so now I'm going to have a bunch of people wondering who the fuck big Steve is. (31m 32s) on the bells of steel. (31m 36s) So I thought that was pretty funny. (31m 38s) So with all of that said. (31m 41s) Five five. (31m 43s) I'm not an ex jam. (31m 45s) My pot touches. (31m 46s) Nice. And I will prolong this a little bit more. (31m 49s) I have I have seen those steel stuff at the Arnold and at home. (31m 53s) Jim con. (31m 54s) I don't know. (31m 55s) I just. (31m 56s) I wasn't. (31m 57s) overwhelmed. It seemed very like kind of right between Titan and below rep. (32m 2s) Way below rep and then like right on par with Titan, but just like, you know, Canadian Titan, which but that's I mean That's a good market though because Titan sells a lot of shit. So (32m 11s) Now they now they do design in Canada, but they build in China, right? So they they're not (32m 17s) It's not the strength of Canada. Let's not get it. Yeah, right (32m 23s) Yeah, I've heard cave on on other podcasts (32m 28s) discuss discuss that, you know (32m 32s) Building overseas and that he's interested in giving people jobs, not necessarily any sort of person from a specific country jobs. (32m 51s) That doesn't necessarily bother me. (32m 54s) I do tend to, most of my gym was built buying. (33m 2s) I do like bills of steel, I think your assessment at the beginning was correct that it was sort of the titan of Canada. (33m 29s) But I really like a lot of the new product. (33m 32s) I think they are moving into a more premium space. (33m 39s) Yeah, that bench I have. (33m 41s) It's wonderful. (33m 43s) And, you know, like I've had Steve has his bench. (33m 45s) He's come up to my house and he was just like, I don't know if I like the fat bench and he actually ended up really enjoying it. (33m 50s) So, yeah. (33m 52s) When I'm at home, Jim Khan, the spring, I will check. (33m 56s) I'll give a little more of a deep dive into their stuff. (33m 59s) And then if anyone else wants to join me at home, Jim Khan. (34m 2s) And then if you have a code unpaid to save 10% on your tickets for this year. (34m 5s) And that's that's really cool. (34m 7s) I know you kind of downplayed it in our text thing, but I was like, is that a limited time? (34m 11s) Of course it is. (34m 12s) It's a ticket ticket purchase. (34m 14s) But like that's really dope. (34m 16s) You know, saving some money off of your ticket. (34m 19s) I'm not driving to no French like Indiana any time of the year. (34m 22s) And actually you've been watching Reacher. (34m 25s) Yes, I'm a friend like is in Reacher. (34m 28s) did you not say I posted um oh no I sorry I didn't I didn't not post it to massonomics I posted it to my home gym group that I'm in there with like the guy that created home Jim con and it was the really fucking French look fucking Americans and yeah I literally posted that in that was really funny yeah I saw that and thought of home Jim con and then of you because I think of you and home Jim con so yeah, reacher is definitely one of the best shows on TV right now if you're not watching it it's fucking yeah watch it. (34m 57s) Very don't don't let Tom Cruise like the movies if you didn't like the Tom Cruise movies don't don't let that (35m 3s) of watching the Amazon Reacher show. (35m 5s) It's, it's just if you're a book fan, like they're so good. (35m 7s) It's such a good show. (35m 9s) - Agreed. (35m 10s) All right, what's next? (35m 14s) - The, the Massanomics YouTube video from this week. (35m 16s) I don't know if it either. (35m 17s) Big, big ball. (35m 18s) Yeah. (35m 19s) I told Andrew we're going to talk about it. (35m 20s) So I think he had a chance to watch it. (35m 21s) If not, he can just lie and make something up. (35m 24s) What did you think of Tanner and Tommy react to a 2015, (35m 30s) whatever was it, eight or nine year ago video. (35m 31s) So 2020. (35m 33s) I think one of them was 14. (35m 38s) I love it. (35m 41s) I love what I love seeing seeing them or I love seeing Tanner like that. (35m 49s) Especially because he's changed. (35m 52s) He's changed so much. (35m 54s) But he hasn't. (35m 56s) If you, if you, if you, if that makes any sense in terms of his silliness. (36m 4s) It's still there. (36m 6s) Um. (36m 8s) Yeah, I really enjoyed it. (36m 10s) I was hoping that they would tip into the kadoba challenge and see him eat those burritos. (36m 20s) I, I still would like to see him as, you know, a. (36m 25s) An almost 40 year old go into kadoba now and try to eat three burritos. (36m 31s) burritos. I'd like to see that as a new. (36m 33s) episode for a new YouTube video, but yeah. (36m 36s) I might do it when I'm there. I don't know. (36m 41s) But I enjoyed it. It was, it just makes me laugh. It just makes me feel like, like that's sort of stuff, like really reminds you just the crap you did when you were younger 10, 10 years ago. All the weird stuff you did. (37m 3s) You thought when you're going out to the gym and doing things. Yeah. Well, yeah, we, you know, we were all going west side back then, right? Now, now would you say that Tanner's deadlift lock out has improved in the last decade? (37m 14s) Because he didn't lock out a single one of those. Oh, no, not a video. And he even acknowledged it. But I was like, I was waiting for, is he not going to acknowledge the elephant in the room that he is like soft knee and like with like a 20% bend in his knees. All these lifts. (37m 27s) And I was like, so he definitely caught himself out. So kudos to being self observant on that and. (37m 33s) Giving yourself shit for that. My favorite part was when they, they mentioned they actually made like him holding up the banana, like the thumbnail. And he was like, yeah, when they saw it live for the first time, they're like, oh, this is a meme. Like, like someone had clipped this little one second thing and made it a meme. (37m 50s) And I was like, so that was me, but it wasn't even the same video. So there must be multiple, like 10 year old videos with him holding up a banana looking like a dildo. Like, because I've been, I had to scroll back, like 2000 pictures to find. (38m 3s) And that from when I screen shot at it, like three years ago, I think, or two years ago. And then I posted it in the thread today too. And I watched it. And it was not the same video. He's wearing a red shirt and one and a black shirt and the other. And the one banana's got a real big bend in it. And the other one's just a straight shaft. So that was hysterical, though. (38m 19s) But with you and fucking bananas. No, I mean Tanner, like, oh, yeah, I don't. That's the, that's, so one of the funniest things in bad Santa was what's with you and fucking sandwiches. (38m 34s) Right. So what's with you and fucking bananas kind of makes sense to me. (38m 38s) Well, there wasn't a catheter in that banana. So, oh, that's yet. So Keith felt real comfortable staring at it. (38m 44s) It's a harken. (38m 48s) Well, I think we've, I don't know if we can probably skip the last one there and talk about it another week. One of you, if you ever get a chance to see it because we think we're going. (38m 57s) I won't get to see it until it. So, yeah, he wants to talk about the iron claw movie. (39m 3s) Oh, okay. I can't. I haven't seen it. I want to see it. It's in there. I keep staring at it. Go and fucking see that movie because I know all about them. (39m 11s) So, yeah, I haven't seen it either. The only thing I would say, my expert opinion, having not seen this film is make sure you also watch the WWE documentary on WCCW to get to get that. (39m 33s) Perspective of the Von Eric's. And also watch the dark side of the ring. Yes. Of the one Eric's. Yeah, I have to do that. Yeah, I did like, I did the Wikipedia deep dive and I was like, fuck, but I didn't. (39m 45s) Yeah, it's tragic. And actually, so the next thing is actually also about tragedy and wrestling. (39m 53s) So, everybody's been joking about what my tattoos are. I haven't posted them on social media. I think only Scott, my wife and my coworkers have actually seen these. (40m 3s) So they... (40m 5s) say hurt and heal. So Bray Wyatt, the fiend had these written on his gloves in this font. (40m 16s) And he died back in November. I think we talked about it when it happened. He's 36 years old. (40m 24s) He kind of was an inspiration to me in a sense. He brought me back into wrestling after almost a decade away. He was very open and, and, um, (40m 35s) loving to his, to his fellow wrestlers. He brought back horror into wrestling, a weird core, (40m 43s) we call it, where things weren't exactly scary, but they were unsettling. And he brought that into wrestling and it made me a little more comfortable with my appreciation for that kind of thing. (40m 53s) Yeah. And then he just up and disappeared for a while. And then he came back and then he went away again. And then he died while he was away. And so we had him for a brief time. (41m 5s) And I've always wanted a tattoo to, to kind of, you know, show my love of all the work Wyndham did his, his real name was Wyndham Rotunda. He was, um, he was a, or an Irish oyster's kid. And I've always wanted knuckle tattoos. And so just the hurt and heal kind of came because, you know, the fiend, it was there as like, yeah, he was a horror villain. He was scary. (41m 30s) he was all these things, but at the same time, he was a representation of (41m 35s) every decision you've ever made. Every decision, it was long-term storytelling. Every decision you've ever made has the possibility to do one or the other, to hurt or to heal, whether it's yourself or the person you're making the decision with or for or against. And the fiend was this weird concept where he would, that was his role. He would come in and he would, he would essentially (42m 5s) get wrestlers. He reset John Cena, he reset Kane, he reset all of these people back to this character that was more beneficial for them. Because ultimately, your hands are capable of so many things. And when you have to make that decision to hurt or to heal somebody, you need to make the right decision. Neither is wrong, but you know, like, it's right at the time. So that is officially (42m 35s) his tattoos on my hands. That's the big reveal. I'll post a picture, I guess, on Instagram. (42m 41s) Well, we have this game we like to play. No, that was cool. I was, I enjoyed that. That was, (42m 46s) I wasn't really sure what you're going to be. And you definitely took it a little more serious goose than we thought. But if I was going to get tattoos on my hands, I'd probably have to have a good reason to do it. So it sounds like you had one, but also am I going to punch you with the hurt hand, which is the right hand? We're going to punch you with the left hand. And actually, (43m 1s) Actually, one of my coworkers was like, did you get honk on one of them and heal? (43m 5s) So she made the joke before anybody in the crew did that's the right hands for honking. (43m 11s) It's good stuff. No, that's cool. Yeah. And I'll agree. I definitely agree in the sense that (43m 19s) in a time where actual storytelling has sort of left professional wrestling, (43m 32s) he was able to... (43m 36s) Create these long, as you're saying, these long story storylines that you were genuinely interested in. (43m 43s) Yeah. (43m 44s) Transitioning, especially, you know, you remember when they tried to bring him in as Husky Harris, (43m 53s) you know, transitioning from some sort of character like that to what he made out of the fiend. (44m 3s) and (44m 6s) You know with the entrance that was sort of (44m 9s) reminiscent of a sort of (44m 12s) It has sort of undertaker feel to it (44m 16s) but also a mankind sort of (44m 24s) Sort of take on it. I yeah, but way scarier. Yeah (44m 30s) Well, he, he, the fiend was Bray Wyatt's alter ego and he came (44m 35s) for those of you guys that don't know, and I encourage you to go watch, there's a good hour long video on his first entrance. We had never seen the fiend do an entrance. We had just seen him attack people. He came in, hearing so Bray Wyatt always cared to lantern. (44m 51s) Because he would light the way that was his thing. (44m 56s) And then he became the fireflies. (44m 59s) Remember kids, I will always light the way. (45m 2s) But then when the fiend came in, that lantern... (45m 5s) Bray Wyatt's head decapitated head wrapped around it in wrestling because it was the idea that I was he was he was the alter ego. He would be the one to kill the nice Bray Wyatt. (45m 19s) It was it was it was insanity. And it was just like I said, it just it did a lot for me. (45m 27s) And so hand tattoos are never actually that permanent. These are eventually gonna wear away. (45m 32s) but I thought for now such a because it's such a there's. (45m 35s) so much movement in your finger yeah it's a high traffic place gotcha (45m 42s) hey thanks thanks I don't know yeah I would like to live this game would like to play (45m 47s) big andrew do you want to do a little uh masonomic sponsor read for us my friend do you have anything ready for us yeah you know what's speaking of that that reminds me of some you know reminds me it reminds me of masonomics um yeah so originally you know I would was was racking my brain you know uh what hasn't been done you know big jeff had this uh ad that really harken to a lot of the uh older jokes big gen had the best poem I think that you could have for for um masonomics and uh you know just a couple weeks ago big steve talked about (46m 33s) why he supports Tanner and Tommy. (46m 35s) Because of how great they are and what I wanted to talk about was why you should join crew. (46m 50s) Now, if you're listening to this, you probably are crew. You probably listen to Massanomics already. But if not, I think you should join crew. It's $3 a month. It's the best community. (47m 3s) Everybody is... (47m 5s) Accepting of each other. We don't get too serious. Everybody stays on Joey's (47m 12s) Silly spectrum in some way shape or form (47m 17s) But I know when I was thinking about joining crew, which I made a big mistake and (47m 24s) joined I think a couple weeks after the (47m 29s) Membership cards were sent out and (47m 33s) my whole thing was (47m 35s) I was Like Tanner in that open powerlifting shirt pretty cheap and didn't know if I wanted to make the commitment Then I saw it's $3 a month (47m 46s) So for $3 a month, I think that it's worth it, but maybe (47m 52s) you are (47m 54s) Looking for some other financial (47m 57s) Sort of incentives (48m) So this is a pen-to-paper situation. I think you'll find out that you can (48m 5s) not afford not to join crew. If you're perhaps you are thinking about making your first big massonomics purchase. Well, when you join crew you receive a discount code that discount code alone can pay for a month of membership. Heck, you could probably work it out like big Tron style and get yourself about 3.50 in return. (48m 30s) On top of that you get early access to drops, exclusive access to that suite. (48m 35s) Finally, as crew, you'll receive bonus mystery gifts, also exclusive to crew. (48m 41s) These gifts are only available to crew-joined when sent out. And may I say that one is being prepared right now and Tanner is slowly and methodically drawing a line in the sand and I would bet you want to be on the right side of that line when the gifts are sent out. Don't be like to join crew and get that gift. So at this moment stop what you were doing. (49m 5s) Go to Massonomics.com/join and join the crew. (49m 9s) I promise we are not rude. (49m 13s) Ryan is. (49m 14s) Well, yeah, everybody's getting injured. (49m 16s) Yeah. (49m 17s) Well done. (49m 18s) Well done, buddy. (49m 19s) It may be too late for your family, but it's not too late. (49m 23s) Yeah. (49m 24s) You know, when I was going through the back catalog, I remember that being read and then saying Nintendo Tron and when (49m 35s) Tron joined and it said Nintendo Tron, (49m 39s) I've heard that before. (49m 42s) That was that was a review. (49m 44s) So when he read the review, I was like, (49m 47s) it is him. (49m 50s) It might be too late for my family, (49m 52s) but it's not too late for yours. (49m 53s) Like who does that? (49m 55s) That was good. (49m 55s) That was a good ad read, man. (49m 57s) That was good ad read. (49m 58s) With that said, let's kick everybody out, (50m) get our guest in the heart. (50m 1s) I got I have a lot I want to talk about. (50m 3s) Good. (50m 6s) All right. Let's you take the brain. (50m 8s) So, well, no, don't because it'll go not in the right direction. (50m 11s) Yeah, no. (50m 12s) Big Andrew, is that you? (50m 14s) Yeah, that's me. Can you hear me? (50m 16s) Yeah, yeah, we'll let you in. (50m 17s) Yeah. (50m 18s) You're live on the unpainted underrated podcast, the podcast about massonomics for crew by crew. (50m 28s) Let's dive right in. (50m 28s) We should dive right in. (50m 29s) You guys want to dive right in? (50m 31s) It's been long enough. (50m 32s) Is it? (50m 33s) Can we dive right in? (50m 34s) I'm surprised we're not diving in right now. (50m 36s) Any point do you want? (50m 38s) Right. (50m 38s) So let's jump in. (50m 40s) What brought you to massonomics? (50m 42s) How did you get here? (50m 45s) That's interesting because (50m 48s) I've known of massonomics since probably 2019. (50m 55s) I remember seeing rookie card and versus pop up on Instagram. (51m 3s) I remember seeing basement Brandon. (51m 6s) In the background, his lift banners and when I think the first time that basement Brandon didn't release a banner, it was sold through the Massanomics shop. (51m 19s) It was 100%. (51m 20s) Yeah. (51m 20s) The bar that high. (51m 21s) So I went. (51m 21s) Yeah. (51m 22s) So I went there and to be honest, I didn't, I didn't listen to podcasts. (51m 29s) I never listened to podcasts. (51m 31s) I was an audio books guy. (51m 33s) So it didn't. (51m 36s) Really didn't really resonate with me to look into it and then around the end of 2021, early 2022, I thought, oh, I had been listening. I started listening to the garage Jim experiment podcast. (52m 3s) And have there been a good guys? (52m 6s) Have there been any, uh, any really good guests that you've heard over the years on that one? (52m 10s) Yeah, my favorite is this guy named Keith, because the first time I saw him on there, (52m 16s) he was drinking a ton of beer and big Jake, big Jake's face was just hilarious. (52m 24s) Keith was Keith. I was so nervous. (52m 27s) He could drink a few beers, start throwing out F bombs about, uh, about Texas power bar, (52m 34s) not getting their shit together. (52m 36s) Because I can't make a 29 power and Jake's eyes were like rolling and he was like, (52m 41s) "Come on, Keith," and I was like, "This is the fucking best right here." (52m 44s) I'm going to go back and watch that. (52m 48s) It was hilarious. (52m 50s) But anyway, so I was like, "I'm listening to podcasts now. (52m 54s) I should give these guys a try." (52m 55s) And I did the thing where I chose certain guests and I would... (53m 6s) Cherry, pick around and there was a time early on where I was like, "I'm just going to go to the guest and listen to them." (53m 17s) And the more and more, I drive a lot so I can't really skip and the more and more I started listening to it, I was like, "Well, I think this is great because I kind of feel a little bit of a kinship with Joey in the sense that I don't know a lot of these guests. (53m 34s) I don't know who the hell they are. (53m 36s) That's why I couldn't do that and that's one of the things I always got to laugh and just talk about that. (53m 43s) It's like, we'll go pick a guest you know, you think you might want to hear from it. (53m 47s) I was like, nope. (53m 48s) I don't know any of these people like I would have gotten to the fucking gladiator guy. (53m 52s) He would have been the only. (53m 54s) Oh, yeah. (53m 55s) Worst fucking audio ever, Jesus Christ. (53m 58s) I don't know who these people are. (54m) I don't know who these people are. (54m 2s) But then I realized like the- (54m 6s) You know what, what are you going to eat? I was like, okay, maybe these guys actually are funny. You know, and then I started listening to the first episode after they had gone back to the Arnold. (54m 36s) And listening to that episode, I remember starting it thinking like, is Tommy just talking about like them going on a trip? (54m 45s) You know, it was good. And then I got home was like, gosh, that was entertaining. Those guys are funny. So it was about that time. (54m 55s) And I've gone back. I've listened to the back catalog. I've listened to every single one. And- (55m 7s) I just I just love it. It's so funny. (55m 10s) That's awesome. I'd love to hear that. (55m 12s) So if anyone wants to find you, we wear where people are going to find your Instagram. (55m 17s) We'll close with it, obviously, but, you know, you're one of those guys that likes having not a name on their Instagram and different stuff from to help everybody (55m 26s) put the pieces together. There were probably already friends on Instagram, (55m 29s) but now they're going to know who you are. (55m 31s) Yeah. So my Instagram is clawtron. (55m 37s) A W T R O M. (55m 42s) It's a strange name. I I created the Instagram specifically for (55m 50s) because I was real I'm really into collecting vintage toys, specifically space toys from the 80s. And that's a space toy from the 80s clawtron. (56m) So Instagram was started to I was going to like take the (56m 7s) pictures of my vintage toys and put it up there. I haven't taken one picture of a toy and put it up there. (56m 11s) Hold on. It is just transition to me training. And then it's just got to the point where it's like, (56m 18s) well, that's the name that I have on there. That's what people know me as, you know, the few people that follow me. (56m 26s) No, that makes sense. So I'm like, just keep it. (56m 30s) What's your discord? Is it the same or is it more your name? (56m 32s) Just everyone can find you there. Yeah on discord. It's It's... (56m 37s) Big Garrison Andrew. (56m 39s) Okay. (56m 40s) Um, so it's just my last name before my first. (56m 43s) And that kind of just parkens back to when I joined Discord. (56m 48s) I didn't realize like how cool the, um, the whole crew community was. (56m 54s) And I was like, Oh, I don't know. (56m 55s) There might be another Andrew. (56m 56s) I don't want to step on their toes or whatever. (57m) Um, you know, because when Andrew allowed the, the, yeah, well, (57m 4s) Well the only other discord I had been in was (57m 7s) the home gym discord and that thing was just chaos and I don't hang out there anymore. I will be a voyeur in there periodically but I don't like very seldom post anything in there because it's a little ticked off just a bunch of young assholes. (57m 29s) All right. So I think you already mentioned your Southern California guy, right? So yeah, (57m 35s) there are there are there are there are there are there are there are there are there are (57m 37s) there are there are you been able to meet up with or anything. Yeah, Mofo and I have met up a couple times. So I met. Do you want to go ahead and share his full name and a social security card and you know pictures of his family and stuff? Everyone listening. All I have are pictures of his feet. I'm sorry. Oh, we have. Oh, God, I have his footprint. (58m 5s) Uh... (58m 7s) But, uh, yeah, so I-I-I met Mofo before he was crew at, um, at a juggernaut event. (58m 17s) Interesting. (58m 18s) Uh, so we were training at this juggernaut thing, and I was wearing this shirt. (58m 23s) He came over and was talking to me, and he was like, "Yeah, I love Massanomics, too." (58m 28s) And, like, I don't know if I should join crew, 'cause like, he's... (58m 32s) This fucking guy says, "I don't have time to be on Discord." (58m 38s) It doesn't Discord more than anybody else. (58m 40s) Yeah, I-I say to him, "Well, I'm pretty busy, too. (58m 44s) I don't get to be on there as much as I would like, but for $3 a month, (58m 50s) I feel that I get more entertainment from Massanomics than I do for a lot of other services that I, you know, do pay for. (59m) And I feel like that's fine, you know. (59m 2s) And then- (59m 3s) And then- (59m 3s) And then- (59m 4s) And then- (59m 5s) And then- (59m 7s) I'm doing it on purpose. I hate that. I don't mean interrupt. You fucking do like you did it on purpose while I was talking. But like, have he ever sorry somebody that's me at work today and it just it just irked me. They were just I just have now and now now I'm going to interrupt Joey. Is this interruption going to hurt or heal the podcast? (59m 27s) Oh, just somebody was like, I just have a quick question and I was like, I'm just helping another person. They're like, Oh, yeah. Can you just explain everything about your job to me really? (59m 37s) And I'm like, what? No. Anyway, have we ever like, if somebody comes in that doesn't talk very often, like, there was a comment in, have any of us been like, where have you been? Where you haven't been very active? Like, have we ever done that? Like, somebody somebody commented today. I didn't even know who they were. But I just started talking to them like they'd always been there. Like, I don't think I even knew who that person was. And I was just like, we've had a few like I don't think Big Caden talked that much in discord. (1h 7s) the Colton doesn't talk a ton in Discord. (1h 10s) I mean, we've definitely out of the 30 plus guests, (1h 13s) like there's at least five or six, seven that have like maybe commented a hundred things over the course of their entire existence there. (1h 18s) So yeah, we're, we're not assholes. (1h 20s) We're not going to judge people for how limited they are. (1h 23s) It's just, you know, we might have to deep dive on the podcast a little harder because we might not know you as well. (1h 28s) So yeah, I'd like the worst thing I think we've ever said is wow, it sure is active in here like that. (1h 34s) So sorry, it was because you were like you were just saying that he just doesn't have the time to be on this one like check in once a week for all we care yeah we're still going to welcome you in yeah well I mean I didn't even know I didn't know it was the same guy and then he had made a comment that he was in Southern California and I'm like oh I am too he's like yeah we've actually met and he put up the phone he sent me the photo of things like oh yeah like you're like the one person I got along with at this thing so. (1h 1m 7s) Yeah so Mofo and I went to see we saw Big Toby at a strong man event in Coachella so we met Big Toby there. (1h 1m 19s) He's a big strong man guy too. He's always pissed in strong man stuff. (1h 1m 22s) Yeah and Toby's one of those guys that I've had you know I've actually had DMs and stuff back and forth with and (1h 1m 37s) really get along well with him too. I met one of the David's him and I went to the Strength Co turkey pool so him and his wife showed up and we had a great time at the turkey pool in November. (1h 1m 52s) Yeah the American David I haven't met the British David. He was supposed to come to that strong man event but he didn't so. (1h 2m 2s) Molfo did some weird stuff with his shirt there there. (1h 2m 7s) Oh, man, no, no, I don't think I want to hear that story. (1h 2m 13s) Everyone DM Mofo asked him about his his shirt now because that's that that left. Well, to talk back there too. Does that I mean that kind of makes sense though because like the David's are the same guy so they really couldn't be at the same place at the same time, right? (1h 2m 24s) No, okay. So like I may be confused here. Which one of them shit on the side of the mountain? (1h 2m 30s) British British David. Okay. And that wasn't Big Andrew? (1h 2m 38s) Whoa, which time are you talking? And you might have dropped a GPS pin. Oh, yeah. Oh, (1h 2m 47s) you jumped ahead. That's a good one. Yeah, I jumped. I was like, wait, no, no, I know. (1h 2m 51s) There's a shit on the side of a mountain story here that I think we've, I think it's fucking wild that we can talk about this with more than one person on this podcast. Yeah. So (1h 3m 7s) my attempts to be to be healthy. I thought that if I just chewed sugar-free gum all the time, I wouldn't get hungry and eat a lot. The fake sugar does not do well with my stomach. (1h 3m 20s) It does not. No, no, no, no, no. That's just a bad idea. You know, what I'm talking about, (1h 3m 25s) like all the dumb stuff we may have done a decade ago, this is one of those. My wife and I would go hiking. We'd go hiking this place, Crystal Cove. (1h 3m 37s) So, it's an Orange County by the coast. You can see the ocean as you're hiking. It's really pretty. And I'm chewing my gum, being very healthy. And suddenly my stomach is just like, "Uh-oh, this is not good." The problem with this is that this is not out in the milledill of nowhere. There are tons of people around. So, you know, we have to like... (1h 4m 7s) go off on this really not used trail. Maybe it wasn't a trail. When we go down, I find a decent spot. I'm like, "Okay, I'm going to walk off here and go." But there's a lot more emergency behind this. Obviously. You weren't casually putting in a camera. You don't actually scroll to go shit in the middle of the woods. So, yeah, I have to go. (1h 4m 37s) Take care of business, come back, and realize that in my squatting and whatnot, I had dropped a GPS pin point at the exact location that this happened. (1h 5m 8s) No, I know I have like this handheld GPS, you know, I come back and I explain to Emily how intense this whole ordeal was. And she's like, what did you wipe with? And I was like, (1h 5m 25s) let's just say that the underwear is no, it was left there. (1h 5m 30s) I know I'm sorry if that was embarrassing or anything. It's just it's wild that I think more than one of us have. (1h 5m 38s) that kind of conversation. (1h 5m 40s) You know, I don't. (1h 5m 43s) At the time it was pretty. (1h 5m 45s) Yeah, it was pretty wild or. (1h 5m 48s) You know, it was a little bit embarrassed by it, but. (1h 5m 52s) I, you know, my job, I spend. (1h 5m 56s) A good amount of time in the field. (1h 5m 59s) So there have been a lot more occasions where I'm by myself that are very similar to this. (1h 6m 6s) that I've just had. (1h 6m 8s) No choice. (1h 6m 10s) You have dude wipes with you and you're not having to go through your underwear. (1h 6m 15s) I'm not prepared, man. (1h 6m 16s) No, no, no. (1h 6m 17s) You think after like, okay, once is forgiven, what is it? (1h 6m 22s) Yeah. (1h 6m 22s) By the time you're going at the third time, that's your fault, whatever the hell. (1h 6m 25s) You fill me, fill me twice again before it again. (1h 6m 30s) Now, it's good that you brought up your job because I'm going to get this right out of the way, (1h 6m 33s) right early. That's the thing I don't want to get into because. (1h 6m 38s) I think that's the coolest shit I have ever heard. I have a couple questions about it, but like you're a you so you're an accomplished flint napper. (1h 6m 49s) Yes. Tell us what that means because that's a that word would sound threatening. Yeah. And when you when you brought up your knife, I thought the only problem was with it was that there wasn't a stone blade on that. (1h 7m 3s) on that. Yeah, I thought yep. Yeah, that was strategic. (1h 7m 8s) So, I'm an archeologist. (1h 7m 12s) My specialty is stone tools and stone tool creation. (1h 7m 19s) So, flintnapping is the process of creating stone tools. (1h 7m 26s) And so I hit rocks together to create arrowheads, blades, knives, (1h 7m 35s) what have you. (1h 7m 36s) The whole process of, or... (1h 7m 38s) or reason for learning this is so that I can look at the waste product. (1h 7m 44s) So the tool goes away. (1h 7m 46s) You know, whatever culture it is, they take the tool away. (1h 7m 51s) All you're left is with the trash. (1h 7m 54s) Archaeologists, we study trash. (1h 7m 56s) And you know what? (1h 7m 58s) I will say, and what I almost went into was cultural studies. (1h 8m 2s) Same. (1h 8m 3s) Yeah. (1h 8m 4s) Same. (1h 8m 5s) you're just studying trash and again, (1h 8m 8s) so cool. Yeah, so the whole thing is like I make the thing. I try to, you know, use whatever technology, because there's different technologies used, whatever technology they would be used, (1h 8m 23s) study the debitage, and that's what I did for years and years and years, so that now when I'm on a project or whatever, and I find a certain type of reduction, you know, technology, oh, this is how (1h 8m 38s) I'm thinking it, or this is the economics of it. This, this toolstone is very abundant, they have lots of it, so they're using a very expedient, quick method of making a tool, because they have a lot of it, they don't give a shit, or hey, this is obsidian, or this is something from really rare, far away. (1h 9m 1s) They're using a different technology, I can tell by this, what's left here, that they are actually (1h 9m 8s) trying to do whatever they can to maintain this tool, because it maintains a sharp edge much longer. (1h 9m 14s) So that's my specialty in terms of, of archaeology and why I do the flint-napping. (1h 9m 24s) And that's, to me, that we don't like to talk about work very often, but I was reading through this, (1h 9m 30s) and I was just like, this is the thing I'm going to have to like not nerd out about a little bit. (1h 9m 35s) I can say that like my one anthropology teacher hated me. (1h 9m 38s) Because I just had so many questions. (1h 9m 40s) I wanted to talk about everything. (1h 9m 42s) So we're going to get that out of the way. (1h 9m 43s) That's about the most we're going to do talking about that one. (1h 9m 46s) But that's fine. (1h 9m 47s) I love talking about stone tools, flintnapping, all that stuff. (1h 9m 52s) I don't like talking about like work, the day to day of work. (1h 9m 57s) Yeah, because it's like any, it's like any job, you know, it's like, you know, there's the cool, there's this cool stuff. (1h 10m 5s) And then, yeah. (1h 10m 8s) Yeah, I wish from trying to hit on it more. Like I said, like I want, even if we literally talk about what you do for 30 seconds, I just want everyone to like, you know, I think that's something we get to do. I feel like we missed out on that a lot on the earlier episode is just kind of glazing glazing over people even did and I feel like I've definitely got called out on that for a few times people saying I want to know more about this person, even if it's just like, like, I think the 10,000 foot view. (1h 10m 29s) But even that, go ahead, no, go ahead Andrew. No, I was just going to say, I think it's neat to see the different profession. (1h 10m 38s) And perspectives that are represented within our community. Yep. So then I have a, I have like a, not an FMK, but like a close to it that I think I can get out of the way now because we're talking about work. (1h 10m 55s) Okay. (1h 10m 57s) What's most effective stone hammer stone arrowhead or stone axe. (1h 11m 5s) If you had to make one to be your favorite tool. (1h 11m 8s) What am I doing with this? Am I. (1h 11m 11s) Hunting killing. (1h 11m 15s) Tell me. (1h 11m 18s) Because there are different different applications for hunting. (1h 11m 21s) Let's go hunting because obviously the stone arrow would make the most sense, right? (1h 11m 25s) Yeah. (1h 11m 26s) Yeah. (1h 11m 27s) So let's change. (1h 11m 28s) Let's do a stone projectile. (1h 11m 31s) Correct me. (1h 11m 32s) So please. (1h 11m 33s) Yeah. (1h 11m 34s) So it could be an arrow. (1h 11m 35s) It could be a tip of a like an add a lateral type spear. (1h 11m 38s) I believe that would be the most effective. (1h 11m 45s) If you want it. (1h 11m 47s) The goal is to eat, right? (1h 11m 48s) Sure. (1h 11m 49s) So if you want to eat, that would be the most effective. (1h 11m 53s) The spear? (1h 11m 55s) A spear point. (1h 11m 58s) Whether it's on an arrow, an arrow shaft or an add a lateral shaft or. (1h 12m 6s) Because that's going to produce. (1h 12m 8s) It's going to get you food. (1h 12m 13s) A hammer and an axe. (1h 12m 17s) That's going to be good for close. (1h 12m 19s) More close to close like hand to hand combat. (1h 12m 24s) And a lot of the animals that you're going after. (1h 12m 27s) You don't want to be. (1h 12m 28s) You don't want to be. (1h 12m 29s) You don't want to be close. (1h 12m 30s) But the reason I put those in because I thought that like, like if you were thinking most effective for just living in that time period. (1h 12m 36s) Oh, like a hammer in an axe. (1h 12m 38s) I think would be eating is important, but so is chopping firewalls. (1h 12m 42s) Yeah, okay. (1h 12m 42s) So living in that period, I would choose the hammer because I use a stone hammer to create points. (1h 12m 50s) I use the hammer to create an axe blade. (1h 12m 53s) So I use the stone hammer, which will usually be of sandstone or some other like kind of more softer material to hit something like chert. (1h 13m 8s) Obsidian something that sort of flakes. (1h 13m 15s) So the best way to describe it is if you've ever seen a BB hit glass, when you see a BB hit glass, (1h 13m 21s) you see that cone there, right? (1h 13m 24s) That's the Hertzian cone. (1h 13m 25s) So what you're doing is that that's the force hitting it and it's spreading out. (1h 13m 29s) So what I'm doing is I'm hitting this glass like material and I'm directing that force to create a sharp edge. (1h 13m 38s) So if there's one tool to rule them all, it's your hammer because that hammer is used to create other tools. (1h 13m 47s) Okay, that I think that's the kind of way I asked that question. (1h 13m 50s) Yeah, no, I just I got I got like nerded out a little bit when I was like, he does what? (1h 13m 55s) It's like I need to talk to him a little bit, but I think that's cool. (1h 13m 59s) I'll deep down one. (1h 14m) Just so I guess he's like shut up. (1h 14m 2s) He fucking knows you talk with anything else. That's okay. That's okay. (1h 14m 8s) The follow up, God damn it, I know my my my question of the you know pose that way would be like, so out of those three, the hammer, a projectile and an axe, which one is like when made of stone is superior than made of metal or most equivalent to when compared to a metal. (1h 14m 31s) Well, (1h 14m 33s) So let's metal will be more durable obviously. Stone has a sort of, in terms of projectiles, it has a good (1h 14m 50s) part of its brittleness as part of its is a benefit because as it goes into an animal, (1h 14m 59s) it may hit a rib or something and then shatter and then all those little pieces are in the animal as it's moving around. It's... (1h 15m 9s) little pieces cutting and cutting and cutting and cutting and cutting. (1h 15m 13s) So in that respect, the stone does have a benefit over the metal, although the metal you could just pull out and reuse. (1h 15m 22s) What I will say is that obsidian blades have been shown to be sharper than surgical steel scaffolds and have been used. (1h 15m 39s) Instead of surgical steel scaffolds in certain sort of surgeries, have I been saying it? (1h 15m 50s) Scalpel? (1h 15m 51s) Wrong my entire life? (1h 15m 52s) No. (1h 15m 53s) I may be saying it wrong. (1h 15m 54s) I think you forgot the word because you put them on the spot. (1h 15m 56s) Scalpel. (1h 15m 57s) Scalpel. (1h 15m 58s) Now how last word question I promise? (1h 16m 2s) Yeah. (1h 16m 3s) How abundant is obsidian? (1h 16m 6s) depends on where you are. (1h 16m 7s) I mean, in the great basin. (1h 16m 9s) And so Eastern Oregon and anywhere where there's volcanoes, I mean, it's pretty abundant. (1h 16m 18s) Down here where I am in Southern California is an import type of material. (1h 16m 26s) But there are areas like in Eastern Oregon and Nevada where the most common tool type is obscene. (1h 16m 39s) All right, we're gonna get away from work, I promise, that was, I, like I said, I had so many things I wanted to talk to you about on that one. So Keith, take over for me for a second. Ask him anything else. Sorry Andrew. (1h 16m 51s) >> I wanna hear you rant about one thing that you and I probably both have extremely in common. Your wife told us you're extremely passionate about customer service and nothing makes you matter than having an experience experiencing poor customer service. And I can't say kindred spirit more than enough to that because that's, you know, (1h 17m 9s) what is, what instilled that feeling of just like it's customer service you should, like that's your job, like please be better at it kind of feeling, you know, where did that come from? (1h 17m 21s) >> All right. I spent 10 years working in a grocery store. I spent 10 years working for Vons, which is a Safeway company. They're currently owned by Albertsons. (1h 17m 34s) And when I worked there, we had to do these things called mystery shops where they'd come in and... (1h 17m 39s) And there was this whole checklist, and we had to go to these different classes. (1h 17m 44s) And you know, it's like, you don't tell them where the item is. (1h 17m 47s) You have to take them over and show them the item. (1h 17m 50s) Each check...so the mystery shopper would come in and we'd have this checklist. (1h 17m 56s) And if you missed like one thing that was considered a fail, and you'd get really busted for failing. (1h 18m 3s) So anyways, I got this whole thing sort of beat into me. (1h 18m 10s) You know, while I was doing it, I kind of thought, "Yeah, this is dumb." (1h 18m 17s) But I ended up getting really good at it. (1h 18m 20s) And I sort of, you know, Joey talks a lot about just doing stuff to make himself laugh. (1h 18m 29s) And I would, you know, I would do things with the people that come in within the guidelines of this shopping (1h 18m 39s) experience or whatever this customer service experience. (1h 18m 43s) But that would just like, just to make me laugh. (1h 18m 47s) You know, like, I often work in stores that were near like older retirement communities. (1h 18m 55s) And, you know, we'd have these regulars that would come in and ask questions and just be sort of annoying. (1h 19m 2s) But the thing is like, that was their day, right? (1h 19m 5s) So, you know, if a certain annoying person would... (1h 19m 9s) come in that I just got a kick out of the way that they bother people, I would say, (1h 19m 14s) "Oh, you know what? You should ask Eric over there." And they'd be like, "Damn it. It would make me laugh." (1h 19m 22s) This is a long way of saying that I ended up embracing this sort of idea that (1h 19m 34s) It is your job to provide a good customer. (1h 19m 39s) Service experience to people and you know when I go shopping now it's like you can't get (1h 19m 48s) I don't know maybe I'm starting to get really old but it's like kids these days it's like they don't know how to they don't know how to bag a grocery groceries it's like if these kids ever gone shopping with their mom and heard their mom complain about the meat put in with the (1h 20m 9s) So things like that, my wife loses her mind every time she sees that and she's like mother fuckers. (1h 20m 16s) My wife just does it on her own. (1h 20m 17s) We literally just help people don't touch our shit. (1h 20m 19s) We'll do it. (1h 20m 20s) Yeah. (1h 20m 21s) Yeah. (1h 20m 22s) So that's where it comes from. (1h 20m 24s) Long way of saying that it comes from my experience working in the grocery store and just accepting, expecting people to provide to me the same. (1h 20m 39s) Same level that I would provide to them if I was on in their shoes because I have been in their shoes. (1h 20m 47s) I kind of agree. (1h 20m 50s) I think that there's an opposite direction. (1h 20m 54s) When I'm training people in customer service, I explain to people that nobody actually remembers what you told them. (1h 21m 3s) They only remember how they felt while you told them. (1h 21m 6s) If you can tell somebody that you can't help... (1h 21m 9s) them in a way that makes them feel good, you've given them good customer service and to me that's the end result somebody walks up and goes do you know where this thing is but I'm not actually an employee here I'll just go I'm sorry I don't work here you know let me tell you if I did shop here I'll send you over to this direction and they're not going to go that idiot didn't know anything they're going to go okay well he sent me in the right direction that was nice that's good customer service right. (1h 21m 38s) But... (1h 21m 39s) I do think there are bad customers in the world. (1h 21m 41s) Oh, I definitely agree. (1h 21m 44s) And I think that sometimes I've even brought one up earlier. (1h 21m 50s) I just have one quick question. (1h 21m 52s) Can you explain to me the entire process of what you do while I'm trying to help somebody else? (1h 21m 57s) I'm sorry, that's not a quick question. (1h 22m) That's actually what we do here. (1h 22m 2s) I would love it if you would join our lineup and we will direct you. (1h 22m 5s) Well, that's ridiculous. (1h 22m 6s) I just had a quick question. (1h 22m 8s) night there's a... (1h 22m 10s) There also has to be an internal reflection of people that if you get bad customer service everywhere you go, it's you. (1h 22m 18s) Oh, yeah. (1h 22m 20s) That's it. (1h 22m 21s) Yeah. (1h 22m 22s) And then I'm... (1h 22m 23s) I will say it, like I'm actually one of the people. (1h 22m 26s) I don't get bad customer service, but I'm not a pleasant customer because I'm not a pleasant person. (1h 22m 32s) Hey, how's your day? (1h 22m 34s) Great. (1h 22m 35s) Thank you. (1h 22m 36s) Oh, well, what do you got planned for later? (1h 22m 39s) You pay for this and leave. (1h 22m 40s) Like, that's me. (1h 22m 41s) That's not a bad customer service experience, like, to me, because I know that that's just me. (1h 22m 46s) I'm not here to talk. (1h 22m 47s) I'm here to buy my fucking energy drinks and go home, like that's so... (1h 22m 51s) Oh, yeah. (1h 22m 52s) I have plenty of stories of mics. (1h 22m 57s) You know, I used to have this idea that I really enjoyed it when somebody would come up and they were angry, and no matter what I was able to tell them. (1h 23m 9s) And they went away and they seemed less... (1h 23m 12s) Yes. (1h 23m 13s) They were better. (1h 23m 14s) I used to be the whisperer of that, too. (1h 23m 16s) Yeah, yeah. (1h 23m 17s) Yeah. (1h 23m 18s) But I have, you know, we were talking about the retirement community that would come in. (1h 23m 26s) There was this one guy who would come in and always say, "Well, Ralph's, they do this. (1h 23m 32s) Ralph's is a Kroger company. (1h 23m 34s) You know, at Ralph's, they would do this. (1h 23m 35s) At Ralph's, they would do this. (1h 23m 36s) And at one point I said, at Ralph's do-- (1h 23m 39s) They treat you better than the way we treat you. (1h 23m 42s) And he says to me, yes, they do, Andrew, (1h 23m 45s) because he was a regular customer. (1h 23m 47s) And I said, well, you must treat them a lot better than the way you treat us. (1h 23m 52s) And he said, I'm sorry, Andrew. (1h 23m 55s) I didn't realize. (1h 23m 57s) Yeah, you know. (1h 23m 58s) Yep. (1h 24m) Sometimes-- (1h 24m 1s) Like I said before, it's that name tag. (1h 24m 3s) The name tag seems to make people think they can talk to you in a certain way. (1h 24m 6s) And I have had to actually look at people, (1h 24m 9s) and it bullying me is one thing, right? (1h 24m 12s) Like I can-- (1h 24m 13s) can deadlift your whole family, like whatever. (1h 24m 17s) Like I'm not scared of you. (1h 24m 19s) But if you start one of my guys, one of my team, (1h 24m 23s) I've always stepped in. (1h 24m 24s) And that's when I'd be like, look, man, (1h 24m 26s) if this isn't the level of service you want, (1h 24m 27s) if you're mad that I'm taking too long with this person, (1h 24m 30s) do you think I'm going to run through you in two minutes? (1h 24m 33s) No, I'm going to be the person that takes the time to make sure you're comfortable in everything We do together. It's fine. (1h 24m 39s) That's not the level of service you want. (1h 24m 41s) There's a place across the road that'll hustle you right through the lineup and give you the fastest service you've ever had. (1h 24m 46s) It'll be shit and you won't get what you want. (1h 24m 49s) But hey, man, it'll be faster. Good for you. (1h 24m 52s) And then I had to write emails to some higher ups. (1h 24m 57s) I had to account for that one. (1h 24m 59s) I said, feel free to shop anywhere else, man. (1h 25m 1s) They'd go ahead. (1h 25m 3s) But if you don't like the service, I'm giving this lady. (1h 25m 5s) You're going to hate the service I'm giving you. (1h 25m 8s) It's right. (1h 25m 10s) You know, Andrew, you know, in your youth, when you were a stud soccer player, as we've heard, hide soccer, you kind of gave some, some bad customer services, some of your opponents. (1h 25m 21s) You broke three fucking guys legs over the course of your career. Wait, you played a guy with three legs? Yeah, me. They like to think they had three legs. Is that, is that factual? Do you do fractures from shins? I'm guessing there's some femur. What did you (1h 25m 40s) do? Well, I for the record, and I will say the game has gotten quite soft now, but nothing I did ever received a red card, even a yellow card. So they were all legal tackles in the day. Um, one, and this one, I do feel bad about one individual. It was actually a (1h 26m 10s) practice. And this is on this is on the coach, because it was my own teammate. The coach set up a drill that should not have been set up. It was a tackling drill. And it had been raining. It was muddy. And, you know, typical, like, sort of high school coach, you know, (1h 26m 33s) don't be a pussy. Don't pull out. Don't, don't, you know, like go in hard, get stuck and all that sort of stuff. (1h 26m 40s) So that's what she said time seven. (1h 26m 42s) Yeah. (1h 26m 42s) Wait, but this soccer and tackle. (1h 26m 45s) I'm so good. (1h 26m 46s) What do you mean by tackle? (1h 26m 47s) Was that like where you just kind of like sweep the leg and try to get the ball to go to bound? (1h 26m 50s) Like I'm so confused on what tackling and soccer ring. (1h 26m 53s) Yeah. (1h 26m 54s) So I was the master of the slide tackle. (1h 26m 58s) So I would slide in and as long as you got the ball, you could go through the player. (1h 27m 6s) Do you go for the ball as long as your foot hits the ball first? (1h 27m 8s) Yeah. (1h 27m 9s) Yeah, that's how that's how (1h 27m 11s) it used to be. So my favorite thing was to slide in, get the ball, have the dude fall over, and then as he's falling over, I stand up really fast, and then he flips again. That was my, that was my absolute favorite thing to do. (1h 27m 25s) But anyways, yeah, the one drill where it was my teammate, I ended up breaking both bones in his leg, and I felt very, very bad about that. (1h 27m 40s) It was not a fun experience. The other couple times, they were in a game, and you know, that's just part of the game at that time, and I don't, I don't feel bad about that. (1h 27m 55s) They went into the tackle incorrectly. They just stuck their leg out, didn't get their body behind it, didn't get their weight behind it, and you know, like if you're going to go in half ass, like, you're going to go in half ass. (1h 28m 11s) So you can see yourself a big soccer fan then too, I think your wife said you get up super early to watch some of the games that are on it like two in the morning or four in the morning. (1h 28m 20s) Yeah, I am. I am of certain teams and certain. (1h 28m 25s) So I'm a big Liverpool football club fan. (1h 28m 31s) I like that. Are those the ones that are on steroids, right? (1h 28m 38s) That was better. (1h 28m 40s) Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. I didn't know where you go. I think I heard liver king in my head just testicles are for pussies or whatever. Yeah, yeah, real many pussy not testicles or. (1h 28m 54s) Yeah, I get I get up early, but I don't know if that's just like also like I get up early for work and maybe it's like a dad thing where that that's also the time where I can sit in complete silence and darkness and drink my coffee and just. (1h 29m 10s) Watch something you know that's that's what I that's what I enjoy now do you call it football or do you call soccer. (1h 29m 19s) I go back and forth so if I'm speaking to any of my. (1h 29m 24s) Like British friends. (1h 29m 27s) I know it's not big David he's not a friend is he. (1h 29m 31s) No, we're. (1h 29m 33s) He's a good guy. (1h 29m 34s) We haven't made it that far yet. (1h 29m 36s) We'll see. (1h 29m 38s) - It's still soccer, the big David. (1h 29m 40s) - That's good. (1h 29m 41s) - Yeah, but you know, I did grow up playing here, right? (1h 29m 48s) You know, I'm American, like, so like I find it very weird (1h 29m 54s) if I'm talking to, you know, my good friends that played and stuff to be like, oh, remember when we were playing football, it's like, come on, I played soccer, you know. (1h 30m 4s) - Oh, it makes sense to me, yeah. (1h 30m 6s) - Would you like to play a little Fuck Mary kill soccer players. (1h 30m 11s) pick a handful of pretty famous soccer players and see what you have an opinion on. Okay, you ready? So we're going to go with FMK. Hey, (1h 30m 21s) lei, or is that I pronounce it? I'm assuming that. Yeah, (1h 30m 24s) pay a lay. So pay a lay Lionel Messi and Ronaldo. If okay, right off the bat, we're killing Ronaldo. Okay, I just like him. I am always disliked him. (1h 30m 39s) Glad to be here. (1h 30m 41s) That's not easy for you. (1h 30m 42s) Yeah, that's not to say he's not good. (1h 30m 45s) He is, but he's he's such a little bitch. (1h 30m 49s) He always has been. (1h 30m 50s) And some of that also comes from the fact that he played for Manchester United, which I (1h 30m 56s) dislike, but he's just always complaining. (1h 31m 4s) So let's let's deal with the others. (1h 31m 8s) Hey, lay. (1h 31m 11s) >> Mm-hmm, Pele and Messi, who like. (1h 31m 20s) >> It's like Messi is- >> Brother's about, sorry. (1h 31m 24s) >> Messi is so good, so good. (1h 31m 30s) The Pele is like revered as one of the greatest of all time, if not the greatest. (1h 31m 36s) So who am I marrying and who am I kind of one night standing here? (1h 31m 41s) Uh, you're looking at it too, how would Paylay hold up in today's game? (1h 31m 47s) Would he be as competitive or, you know, or was he ahead of his time? (1h 31m 51s) Could he hold up? (1h 31m 52s) Because he was more like 80s or 70s, wasn't he? (1h 31m 55s) Or when was he? (1h 31m 56s) Yeah. (1h 31m 57s) Um, 80s? (1h 31m 58s) No, your time periods are not, are not off. (1h 32m 2s) I still say I have to marry Paylay. (1h 32m 6s) Okay. (1h 32m 7s) Okay, because he did a lot. (1h 32m 11s) A lot for the sport also in a I know Messi's doing a lot for the sport in America (1h 32m 17s) coming here and playing but you know when I'm thinking like that messy sort of the (1h 32m 26s) The young hot thing right now, right? So I (1h 32m 29s) Yeah, but how are they look how are you how are you be looked upon in 20 years kind of I don't know (1h 32m 35s) Yeah, the answers there. So (1h 32m 37s) out of the soccer, so would you say (1h 32m 41s) Okay, so here's another one kind of a follow-up to this so (1h 32m 44s) Favorite soccer player of all time and best soccer player of all time two separate answers if it is two separate answers (1h 32m 55s) Okay, I (1h 32m 58s) Think for the best I probably would have to just stick with paylay, okay (1h 33m 5s) But my favorite and maybe this is (1h 33m 9s) my age or (1h 33m 11s) you know when I when I really became aware of what's going on and and and watching it is uh (1h 33m 20s) Stephen Gerard (1h 33m 22s) from Liverpool, I think he is my favorite (1h 33m 27s) player of of of all time. Uh, so (1h 33m 32s) he was active from (1h 33m 35s) I think early 2000s to about 2014 to 2015 (1h 33m 41s) me don't really fact check me on that stuff but uh (1h 33m 46s) Just the way he controlled games in the midfield and (1h 33m 52s) The goals that he scored and and everything uh, I always enjoyed watching him play and then (1h 33m 59s) For a few years he came and played on the LA galaxy (1h 34m 4s) uh team that's near near us and (1h 34m 8s) I got a chance to see him play there. (1h 34m 11s) Oh, that's cool. You could say that's pretty cool that your favorite player. You can actually say like, oh, I saw this dude, like he was probably like three years past his prime, you know, but I still saw this human that I consider my favorite player of all time in person, even if it was like 500 feet away. That's still pretty cool. A lot of people can't say that about their favorite athlete. So that is a it's pretty something to kind of, you know, something you always remember for sure. (1h 34m 33s) So now, if you were tight on funds and you needed to get some relationships of soccer tickets, do you hear you have a whole collection of stuff that you kind of. (1h 34m 41s) Sell off every now and then when you when you need some new funds, you got some, and is that accurate. (1h 34m 47s) Yeah, so I mentioned briefly about my vintage toy collection. So it is heavily focused in vintage Star Wars action figures. I have a lot of them multiple version or I have multiples of each one that was released. (1h 35m 7s) So I have two or close to two. (1h 35m 11s) collections, and then a bunch of other just sort of random things that are rare, because my collections are primarily loose figures with their weapons that makes them worth more, a lot more. (1h 35m 27s) But I do have a few that are in the package. (1h 35m 31s) When I decided that I wanted about 500 pounds of strength co-plates, I was thinking about How am I going to get funds? (1h 35m 41s) I sold six or seven figures and met big grant and got my strength complaints. (1h 35m 58s) Do you have sellers or more or so? (1h 36m) Or were they all duplicates or even triplets in your case? (1h 36m 4s) Yeah, they were some were triples and some were things that were in the package. (1h 36m 11s) The price of this stuff has gone up so much. (1h 36m 17s) When I was really collecting, it was early 2000s and things I got for 60 bucks or were $300 or $400 now. (1h 36m 27s) I've really got to check out my collection because I have a lot of that shit from the re-release, right? (1h 36m 32s) Like I have a lot in my gym. Currently, I have the kind of the 12 inch dolls of Luke Skywalker. (1h 36m 41s) The sand guys whose name is fucking escape. (1h 36m 46s) Tusken Raiders and Darth Vader. Weapons and all in the package opened, but still in the package. (1h 36m 53s) And I still have a bunch of little tiny figurines too. I better take a look at that shit because like they're just sitting on their collecting dust. (1h 37m 1s) So is that the stuff that was released? Host 97? (1h 37m 6s) Yes, I have some of those and I have some of them stuff from the 60s (1h 37m 11s) But that shit I don't know where it is. Yeah, so the older stuff. There's a lot of money in the older stuff particularly weapons (1h 37m 20s) Like you could sell (1h 37m 24s) Certain weapons you could sell for more than if it was with the figure by itself (1h 37m 29s) So it's like there's there's an e-walk bow that I sold for 350 dollars Geez, just it's a bow this like yeah, that's you know, it's but it completes my collection (1h 37m 40s) Yeah, I'll see. (1h 37m 41s) You know, I had extra. (1h 37m 43s) And part of the problem is that so many companies make reproduction weapons now. (1h 37m 49s) Having the real thing is what's important to a lot of these people. (1h 37m 54s) And so if you have a real one and can prove it's real, there's the worth. (1h 38m) In terms of the later figures, those are starting to pick up in price. (1h 38m 9s) Yeah, they use to not be worth very much at all. But it gets to this point where people become old enough that they remember having them when they were kids, their mom sold them off. They don't have them. Now they want them. And so you're starting to see the, you know, people who had those as a kid come of age and have a little bit of discretionary income and want them. Yeah. So those I have a lot of because that's when I got into Star Wars, because I would have been like a teenager, right? We're not going to go too. (1h 38m 41s) Too much into Star Wars, because people have said, shot up about Star Wars and Star Trek on this podcast. But I mean, talking about the toy, where this is probably where it's at. (1h 38m 53s) I got a quick Star Wars question. You don't really have to explain it all that much. I just wanted the answers. Either you can either rank them or just tell them your favorite out of like the current Disney lineup of Star Wars shows. If you know them by heart and want to like rank them in like 90 seconds or less or just tell us what your favorite one is and why one or the other. (1h 39m 12s) Favorite. They're all starting to come together. So they're all pretty good. (1h 39m 19s) Although I'm like you Keith, I have not watched and or yet. Oh, I mean, either. How do I kick him out of the zoom? I'm watching Echo right now. I've looked at an door and been like, yeah, I'll watch Echo. (1h 39m 32s) You know, I there have been multiple times I have tried to watch and or and have not. Right. (1h 39m 39s) And you know, my younger brother watched. (1h 39m 41s) The whole thing is like, this is the best one. (1h 39m 44s) And I'm like, yeah, where's the wizard? (1h 39m 46s) Like, I was like, this guy on a podcast. (1h 39m 49s) I listened to things that too. (1h 39m 53s) You actually say that. (1h 39m 56s) Oh, that makes me so happy. (1h 39m 59s) And I don't know. (1h 40m) Glasses off as it been time. (1h 40m 3s) Yeah, buddy. (1h 40m 3s) It's been, it's been over two hours, like take those off. (1h 40m 6s) You're going to need to bring the real blue. (1h 40m 7s) I need to bring the lube. (1h 40m 9s) I need to get a second pair of blue blockers. (1h 40m 12s) a little block. This is so ugly and everyone's blue. What the fuck? (1h 40m 16s) Yeah. So, so to answer your question, I don't know if it's because it's because it's, uh, hi. (1h 40m 25s) You are not blurred to if you just if you don't know, I know. Okay. (1h 40m 29s) Cool. I know. I helped my lab. Yes, it was. (1h 40m 33s) I would say and I don't know if it's because it's new, but (1h 40m 38s) Ahsoka really has been my favorite so far. I didn't like that. (1h 40m 42s) But, you know, I was, I've watched the Clone Wars, I've watched Rebels, I've watched all that stuff, so it's like... (1h 40m 49s) I got into one of them, I think, Sesame had me start watching one of them a few months ago, and I think I got like three or four episodes in... (1h 40m 57s) The one that's the prequel, but I just, I'll get back to it, I just... (1h 41m 2s) I love the Soka. I think Soka was... (1h 41m 6s) Again, I said it very, very many times that, like, I'll support her, everything she does. (1h 41m 12s) And her being a Soka is fantastic. I still think the Mandalorian season one was the best. (1h 41m 19s) I still think that that... It's the thing that started it all. It was the Daredevil of the Star Wars. (1h 41m 26s) And I can't say anything to, you know, discount that opinion either. I mean, it's... I get that sort of perspective. (1h 41m 37s) Yeah, okay. I've been whole. (1h 41m 42s) We're going on two hours pretty close. (1h 41m 45s) A little wonder. (1h 41m 47s) I figured you would want to, you know, end this segment with some rasselin talk. (1h 41m 52s) That is where I'm going with this. I've been told you like raslin. (1h 41m 55s) I know and earlier you mentioned you jumped in with my Bray Wyatt talk. (1h 42m) So I think that it's time. (1h 42m 2s) Finally, that I get to talk to somebody about wrestling on this. (1h 42m 7s) I'm not going to ask too much. (1h 42m 9s) much I'm not going to go into like, like, a favor, a carny. (1h 42m 12s) Talk. I'm just gonna ask base level stuff. Okay. I have two Mount Rushmore is that I want you to go through with me. (1h 42m 20s) Okay, let's be careful because we don't want to tread on my question for you. (1h 42m 24s) Well, you might. We might find out. Okay. So Mount Rushmore of Attitude Era wrestler. (1h 42m 34s) Attitude era wrestlers. (1h 42m 38s) Brothers are allowed are we just are we just since we're saying? (1h 42m 42s) Attitude era are we just going with WWE or are we going Monday night war time? (1h 42m 48s) We're going Monday night war. Okay, I didn't want to say Monday night work because that might have been too niche. So when I say attitude era, I mean, everybody involved with making wrestling as famous as it was at the time. Man, I was at Royal Rumble 1999 during the I quit match. So you're not. (1h 43m 12s) I'm well aware of this. Yeah, so I'll change it from attitude era to Monday night wars because that makes it more difficult. The goal here, make it hard. Yeah. So I'm going to go with. (1h 43m 26s) You have to go a stone cold. You have to go. You got to go a stone cold. And I think you have to go with the rock. Just. Am I just okay? Okay. Well, no, it's your, it's your - I love. (1h 43m 42s) - I love the rock, but the rock and stone cold, (1h 43m 50s) they're feuds, first for the Intercontinental Champion, (1h 43m 55s) then for the WWF Championship, they're epic. (1h 44m 1s) So I wanna have them both in here. (1h 44m 5s) - I'm in. (1h 44m 7s) Now, and maybe this is just (1h 44m 12s) like a, a sort of, like, (1h 44m 17s) just to pick because I just like him is Scott Hall. I just, I just like him. (1h 44m 22s) I just, I just love. (1h 44m 24s) I just love the outsiders. (1h 44m 26s) There wouldn't have been a Monday night war without the outsiders. (1h 44m 29s) And you don't have to justify that pick at all. (1h 44m 31s) Yeah. (1h 44m 31s) I mean, I love the explanation because that's what druthers are for. (1h 44m 34s) But yeah, I just, I love Scott Hall. (1h 44m 37s) He's, he has that mix that (1h 44m 42s) of humor and toughness that I really enjoy. (1h 44m 49s) So then I get one more. (1h 44m 53s) I kind of want to go for a comedy pick, but it's Mount Rushmore. (1h 45m 1s) Who was instrumental? (1h 45m 4s) It could even be just who did you like watching? (1h 45m 7s) Because I think I think I would know who to throw in that if it were me doing this. (1h 45m 12s) just want to watch. Like, who did you tune in? It doesn't matter if they like, give me fucking Scotty too. Audie for all I care. Who is it like somebody that like you were like, (1h 45m 21s) no, I want to see what they're up to. All right. All right. I'm glad to do that too. Okay. (1h 45m 25s) Rakeshia. (1h 45m 26s) Yes. (1h 45m 27s) My, my pick there is Valvenis. Hell, yes. From Valvenis Scarborough, Canada, right up the row. Valvenis was hilarious. His gimmick was (1h 45m 42s) unbelievable. Yeah. You can't do that nowadays. And he's a really good wrestler. He just was actually really good. Yeah. He was really good wrestler. And like to this, to this day, (1h 46m) my, my best friend, Greg will, will send like Valvenis stuff to my brother and I, just (1h 46m 12s) never, ever auditioned back into when WWE bought everything and like, oh, one or whatever, (1h 46m 16s) did he ever actually go back? Was he ever on WWE? I just remember him from WCW. He was, (1h 46m 22s) he was always never WCW. You're right. Yeah. I don't know why. He was Valvenis, then he was in, uh, right to censor. So he became like less of this like porn star and like, yeah. (1h 46m 36s) And then, uh, he was in TNA for like two episodes or something. Yeah. Uh, when, (1h 46m 42s) Hogan came into TNA and was gonna like make TNA, like reignite the Monday night wars, but something happened with like tapings or something. And, uh, I think his name's Scott Morley. He like, he couldn't do it anymore. So he was there for like three episodes and then quit. (1h 47m) Like, yeah, he ended up coming back, I think a little bit, but I don't think anything marched. He had the most like awkward intro. Like it was so like, it's like a 13 year old (1h 47m 12s) film, probably like 11 year old, honestly, it was like, Oh, wow, that is like their teachers pretending he's a porn star. That's weird. Yeah. Yeah. It was, it was definitely over the top. That's yeah. It wasn't as bad as, uh, the Godfather though, coming out with his host. The whole tree. The whole tree. That was good. Okay. So that would lead up to the next question. And this one's a bit, um, am I coming through like, like, uh, echo Lee? Okay. I think you're okay. Though the Mount Rushmore of this current wrestlers. So I don't know how much you've been paying attention currently. (1h 47m 50s) Because I think that there's, there's a lot going on between AEW and ENA and ROH and like there's so many incestuous relationships in wrestling right now where these guys are jumping back and forth. Who are you paying attention to now? And I, again, I love this stuff. I wish we could talk about wrestler. I would have a whole thing. I think that they they talked about wrestling for like 30. (1h 48m 12s) seconds on one of the episodes two weeks ago where they talked about triple H's entrance or something like that. (1h 48m 19s) And then I was just like, you fucked like I was, I could have been on this. (1h 48m 23s) Yeah, but I was so googling what people's finishing moves work because they couldn't remember the names. (1h 48m 29s) Yeah. Oh, and I was just like marking out and I was like, I have all these answers. (1h 48m 35s) So it's fun that I get to talk to somebody that actually kind of might air about wrestling a little bit. (1h 48m 40s) So Mount Rushmore of... (1h 48m 42s) current wrestlers. Now that doesn't have to be today, I'll say I will open this up for you for the PGR. (1h 48m 49s) Okay. Yeah, I don't... I watch pay per view, you know, and now it's probably like the big pay per views. (1h 48m 58s) Yeah. I stopped watching when Bray died. Like, I will be honest, I haven't watched a single full episode of wrestling since he went away. (1h 49m 8s) but I watch the highlight reels and I watch, (1h 49m 12s) I like Cody Rhodes. I do like Cody Rhodes. I, I think that he, you know, (1h 49m 31s) I've been watching him since he was, what was it? He was like that star dust type character. (1h 49m 37s) Um, the mustache before that he was the guy. (1h 49m 42s) Yeah, and he came out, there was a time when he would come out and like, he had like give like people bags or he would have a bag on his head or something. Like you didn't want people to see him. So he, I like Cody Rhodes. I'm trying to think of who else really captures my attention. Uh, I like what they're doing with him. I can't remember his name, but (1h 50m 13s) Mysterio's son right now. Where he talks about how he how he Dominic Dominic. (1h 50m 20s) Yeah, Dominic, how he spent time in jail or something. (1h 50m 25s) You know, they're the same stature as his dad. Like, no, he's much bigger. He's bigger. (1h 50m 30s) Yeah, he's bigger. If there is a villain, better, a heel, better than Dominic Mysterio right now. It's MJF. (1h 50m 43s) Okay, and nobody else, like that dude, like kids spit on him, Dominic Mysterio, he's so hated. (1h 50m 53s) >> Yeah. (1h 50m 53s) >> And he's so good at it. (1h 50m 55s) It's almost uncanny. (1h 50m 58s) It's you'd have to try harder, right? (1h 51m 1s) I think the last great villain was Triple H, Roddy Piper, and Dominic fucking Mysterio, he's so good at being hated. (1h 51m 11s) So I'm up there with you on-- (1h 51m 13s) Yeah, I like Bayley, but she hasn't done all that much lately. (1h 51m 21s) Yeah, she's-- (1h 51m 22s) You know, I liked her maybe five or six years ago when she was having those feuds and NXT. (1h 51m 31s) I don't know, I think that's-- (1h 51m 38s) All right, that's cool. (1h 51m 40s) Sometimes these are a hit, sometimes these are a miss. (1h 51m 43s) I don't know how much you know what you know or how much you pay attention. (1h 51m 45s) So it was awesome to talk to anybody about wrestling. (1h 51m 49s) Some home gym equipment where I tune out a bit. (1h 51m 53s) Now I'm talking about wrestling. (1h 51m 55s) I randomly caught on my it just popped up on YouTube. (1h 51m 57s) It was like, do you want to watch an hour and a half documentary on Shawn Michaels? (1h 52m) And I was like, sure. (1h 52m 1s) Fucking right. (1h 52m 2s) I do. (1h 52m 2s) I watched the whole fucking thing. (1h 52m 4s) And I was like, oh, I remember a lot of this. (1h 52m 7s) And then like, I didn't know about his drug addiction and shit. (1h 52m 9s) And like, you know, going away for five years and then coming back and having (1h 52m 13s) a great match. (1h 52m 13s) And I didn't realize when he did kind of come back, he's literally lost like, at least every match that showed he lost like every match in the last five years that he was there. (1h 52m 21s) But he put like great performances on and just kind of help put people over. (1h 52m 24s) So it's because when he was big, he was an asshole. (1h 52m 29s) And he had to at home. (1h 52m 31s) He had to pay those receipts to get back into the business or people to want to work with him again. (1h 52m 37s) He was when he was at the top of his game. (1h 52m 40s) and I'm going to talk about heartbreak kid. (1h 52m 43s) Great about the X era, and he was one of the most hated people in the locker rooms. (1h 52m 48s) But at the time, because he was one of the biggest names in the locker rooms, (1h 52m 52s) you didn't have guys that could kick him out. Like you currently have guys, like, yeah, (1h 52m 59s) you currently have guys like Roman Reigns, you have guys like The Undertaker, you've always had these what we call locker room generals, locker room big dogs, where if somebody's acting up, (1h 53m 9s) You could fucking boot him, right? But because... (1h 53m 13s) Because Sean Michaels was so protected, nobody could boot him, right? And then that was a big problem. (1h 53m 22s) So when he did go away and then came back, he didn't come into a locker room of people like, (1h 53m 27s) "Yeah, we love you. Come back." He came back into a locker room of people like, (1h 53m 32s) "Don't do what you did before. You made us all not comfortable." And because wrestling is such a tight-knit community that that kind of thing happens yeah it was crazy (1h 53m 43s) like him and Triple Agent like any couldn't remember if it had been like a year or two years they didn't talk to fucking Triple Agent like that so like I don't know I guess I've never been wild never been you know never had a drug addiction problem so I guess it you know I can't really you don't really when people are remembering shit that happened when they were dealing with drug addiction I guess it does make more sense of how they just like shit just gets blurred and like when they're recounting stuff and it's just all like how do you not remember remember like slightly more specific you're just giving like a (1h 54m 13s) big memories you don't have actually specific so like oh because you were in a drunken fucking yeah you know he'll induce you know stupid for fucking 20 years and in an industry where your entire job is to beat up your body consistently for hours and hours and hours so moving on from wrestling for now because I got the feeling it's going to come up again later we have another fucking brand new affiliate that we do so you know we try not I'll talk about this one pretty (1h 54m 43s) up to the first time and then from there you know we'll see I obviously don't want to you know come in your guys here's too hard about all these affiliates just we get like we get a lot like it's kind of getting I got solicited for two separate ones today and I wasn't going down I said to Morgan today I was like every day this is fucking out of hand that how many people want to like jump in and join us but at the same time I think it's a reflection of what we're doing how we're doing and the people that stand behind what we're doing so tell them because I have no clue who this is never heard of us. (1h 55m 13s) where they are. Go. But at the end of the day, though, Massnomics is the only in pain sponsor. So make sure you give them all the kudos. And but if you give it, if you get the opportunity to use any of our affiliates, they are all code unpaid and save you anywhere between five and 10% off, we will appreciate that. So my good friend, Ashton at Freedom Fitness Equipment reached out to me and, you know, wanted to see if we wanted to set up an affiliate link and was like, yeah, let's go ahead and do it. So he is a gym equipment distributor out of Charlotte, North Carolina. He does a lot of commercial stuff as far as (1h 55m 43s) he'll, you know, resell and refurbish a lot of the commercial cardio equipment and then has a bunch of, you know, new stock equipment that he sells. So I mean, he does do a free pickup if you're in Charlotte, North Carolina, but he also ships stuff nationwide. So basically, (1h 55m 58s) his little spiel he wanted me to read here for you guys is okay, tired of paying stupid prices for gym equipment you're going to use and abuse anyway. You need to get hella swole without selling a second kidney. I got good news. Look no farther than Freedom Fitness (1h 56m 13s) the best place to find steals on new and used fitness equipment. Give your gym a facelift and stay big with code unpaid. And that's freedomfitnessequipment.com save 75% it looks like. I mean, that's pretty dull. Like that's our first equipment. You know, it's only at so I mean, use it up if you're gonna. I spent some time on the website today and I didn't really get anything but pretty cool. I've seen him on (1h 56m 43s) other podcasts. He's very big in the industry. Like he gives back as far as like, he's always trying. He's always on he's got his own, you know, he puts out a lot of his own content, (1h 56m 52s) but he's also helps out with a lot of the other guys. Like he, you know, I've done a couple of them. I think at least one or two different podcasts with him on like round tables with the garage and experiment. So I've already had a report with him. I met up at home gym con home gym con save 10% on code unpaid. I'm hanging out with me and and I want to say the current home gem con. (1h 57m 13s) Crew count that I know of is going to be me. (1h 57m 18s) Joey not not not our Joey another Joey on the home gem community. (1h 57m 23s) Joey E I can't ever pronounce the last name. (1h 57m 28s) Carp probably I think carps coming. (1h 57m 31s) He's working on it and. (1h 57m 35s) Hurt locker is technically crew not super active, but he is supporting member. (1h 57m 40s) That's done. And then a big Chris from belt fed who is a. (1h 57m 43s) Who's who's a new crew if anyone's not familiar with him is basically like if you're going to buy a belt for power. If you know I always tell people to go to pioneer if you don't want pioneer go to go to Chris at belt fed. They may be. (1h 57m 53s) The fed is like no no no I'm saying like there's the only two belts that I would recommend I wouldn't I don't tell people to go buy a fucking injured belt and don't go buy an IPF belt or a. (1h 58m 2s) An SBD belt unless you need to compete in IPF so like I like pioneers because it's all ever worn but you know I met Chris and his wife and I'm really fucking dope people. (1h 58m 13s) And he just recently joined crew as if like this week I think so possibly a future guest if he sticks around and you know wants to be on most of the podcast. (1h 58m 23s) Sorry to harken back freedom freedom fitness equipment. (1h 58m 27s) Well, I'll add to a big car pet a giveaway for belt fed. (1h 58m 38s) Some handles I won that. (1h 58m 40s) Yeah, so it was pretty sweet and... (1h 58m 43s) Chris hounded me for my unboxing video, so I had to put it out there. (1h 58m 53s) I like my still-oh big carp, some video of me using the handles. (1h 58m 59s) Got sick just after I got them, but they're super cool. (1h 59m 3s) I like Belfast Ring. (1h 59m 6s) So I think it's about tying. (1h 59m 8s) I think we've had enough affiliate ads. (1h 59m 11s) Yeah, I'm good for the week to jump (1h 59m 13s) I'm jumping Kim. We'll get to you next week bar rescue codon paid. That's it for this week. Oh, yeah, I got mine. I love it. I love it so much. Okay, we have to talk about it then. It takes some getting used to do you have one enter? I don't I that that that is something I actually I really want one. Yeah, it's one of those things that just like it's it's like, well, I don't need one of those and then I get one and I'm like, how did I ever survive without this for real? Yeah, for real. And I now that I have multiple (1h 59m 43s) animals because I'm a nightmare of a human and you know, taking a bad advice from Keith and but like, it's it is perfect. It's a circular brush. They just over here and it's clean and you know, it's it's a weird. I didn't have one before. It's just one of those like it's almost like a drink spotter. It's a bit like a drink spotter where you look at it and you go, I don't need one of those, then you get one and you go, how did I never have one of these? (2h 14s) So barbell rescue is it's up there with the the weird niche stuff for home gym owners even (2h 20s) Commercial gym owners because I've seen them at some of my meats (2h 23s) That you should definitely get your hands on one of those and if you want to save five bucks (2h 27s) You just code unpaid that'll pay for half your shipping to be honest with you (2h 32s) Absolutely. Oh, right (2h 35s) Well, I'm pretty content. I think we're we're definitely over the two-hour mark now so that is the perfect time to (2h 42s) Get into a little un... (2h 44s) I have my drawers. I can't ride two asses with one horse or whatever. I'll never get that right. And now I'm not gonna learn just for the spider No, no, no, no line writing. (2h 1m 10s) and pay here is it is technical. (2h 1m 14s) technically overrated because no one wants to be unpaid. (2h 1m 18s) It sounds like you've listened to an episode or two because that's a paraphrasing big Keith a little bit there. (2h 1m 22s) Oh yeah, I've listened to every episode. (2h 1m 25s) I love it. (2h 1m 26s) I love it. (2h 1m 27s) Now did you, when you did listen, have you been like, you listened to every episode from the very beginning and listened when they come out or you kind of like got behind a little bit and then had to binge a couple because you knew you were going to be a guest or? (2h 1m 38s) No, every Tuesday. (2h 1m 39s) I love it. (2h 1m 40s) I love it. (2h 1m 41s) So when you guys were talking about starting that. (2h 1m 45s) The podcast in discord. (2h 1m 49s) You know, I really wanted to throw my hat in there and be like, oh, yeah, I want to be, you know, I can help and be part of it, but I just, I don't have the time. (2h 1m 58s) And that's why that's that's why every every chance I get, I try to make it known like how, how much I appreciate the amount of time you guys put into this because I know it's a lot. (2h 2m 12s) Well, you know what would really help is if you. (2h 2m 14s) You go ahead and order a barbell rescue brush and use code on paid. (2h 2m 17s) There you go. (2h 2m 17s) I'll talk to my wife about it and see if I can. (2h 2m 20s) My God. (2h 2m 21s) All right. (2h 2m 22s) So unpaid or underrated for big Andrew. (2h 2m 25s) My number one question will be labor unions. (2h 2m 29s) What do you think about labor unions? (2h 2m 32s) Oh, is working in a grocery store that had gone on strike a time or two. (2h 2m 40s) You're kind of familiar with this situation, I guess. (2h 2m 44s) Political realm. (2h 2m 45s) Yeah, it's kind of political. (2h 2m 47s) OK, so yeah, well, that's true. (2h 2m 50s) I honestly didn't think about that. (2h 2m 51s) So don't think of me. (2h 2m 52s) I don't want your brothers then just give me on pay to rate unless you can keep it a non political. (2h 2m 56s) That's good call. (2h 2m 58s) We love whatever works for you. (2h 3m 2s) Yeah, I will say the Southern California United Food commercial workers union. (2h 3m 12s) Holy fuck, what's that acronym? (2h 3m 14s) Yeah, it's UFC W or something like it looks like a wrestling fan. (2h 3m 23s) It kind of sounds like the weirdo-hole movie. (2h 3m 30s) Keith's not a fan of that. (2h 3m 33s) So he has his fault. (2h 3m 37s) So I will say specifically the grocery store union here is is uh... (2h 3m 45s) unpaid because yeah we were on we were on strike for six months and like I don't want to get into all the political stuff about it people have their issues with unions and I don't necessarily think unions are bad but the one I was in I would say is unpaid because I don't think that they tried very hard to find a good solution in a timely manner for us. (2h 4m 14s) When people, their houses and stuff, I was in college, it was a different time for me, but there were people that this was their career, and they needed to get back. (2h 4m 25s) That makes sense and good catch on. We don't want to get too political because I am the biggest. Don't fucking talk about politics. (2h 4m 32s) Guys, I don't register. It's funny that I didn't register that that was like a political kind of thing. I just didn't piece it together. (2h 4m 38s) So number two for me, I'm going to go with one of the ones I'm going to do. (2h 4m 44s) If you don't know what this one is or aren't familiar with it, I'll go to my second one, which is of the similar vein. So unpaid or underrated, the TV show, welcome to Wreksum. (2h 4m 55s) I have not watched it. Okay, so then, how about the Wreksum Football Club? (2h 5m 2s) I'm going to say it's unpaid, and I'll tell you why, because, yeah, they're this. (2h 5m 14s) division team, they're non-league. And that's cool, you know, if it's your local club, so people have Rexham, it's probably underrated because you have a lot of stuff. But just because you have some money behind it, you know, now you have all of these people in America, they're like yeah rexum you know whatever better all (2h 5m 44s) into it just like it's unpaid like they're not supporter they weren't supporters of this team before they're just supporters now because it's a popular thing and then I think that's the definition of unpaid it makes sense I for the clarity like I really like the show my wife got into it she's she literally likes Ryan Reynolds and the other dude like Rob McEnally Oh, I love Magoly, I love that. (2h 6m 14s) He's one of the funniest guys I think there is, but I think I think the show is great. (2h 6m 22s) I could take or leave the soccer club, but the show itself, their bands are back and forth and how they they've they keep fucking with each other on their birthdays. (2h 6m 31s) They give them this most outlandish gift that's just super embarrassing and like kind of detrimental to them kind of thing. (2h 6m 37s) Like to the other person, it's just really funny. (2h 6m 39s) So I guess this is going to show my ignorance. (2h 6m 42s) What do you watch it on? (2h 6m 44s) I haven't watched it either. (2h 6m 46s) I think I've got to shave up here. (2h 6m 48s) Pretty sure it's Hulu. (2h 6m 49s) I don't know. (2h 6m 50s) I don't know. (2h 6m 51s) It's an FX. (2h 6m 52s) I think it's an FX show, but I can log in through my buddy's spectrum on FX and then we have Hulu. (2h 7m 1s) So whichever one it hits first, but very enjoyable. (2h 7m 5s) I really like it. (2h 7m 6s) I think it's great. (2h 7m 8s) I probably would like the show. (2h 7m 10s) I think, well, yeah, yeah, that's why, if, yeah. (2h 7m 14s) Regardless of your opinions of the wrecks in the club, I think you'd like the show because anything I would assume like anything soccer you probably can zoom and kind of enjoy so that'll go into my next one and my last one. (2h 7m 24s) I'm going to go with unpaid or underrated. (2h 7m 28s) You knew for him. (2h 7m 29s) Yeah. (2h 7m 30s) No, the one, the other one I crossed out when you were in the bathroom, we talked about earlier. (2h 7m 34s) Oh, I went to the bathroom, everybody. (2h 7m 36s) Yep. (2h 7m 36s) Yep. (2h 7m 37s) Joey went and took a fucking fourth time this podcast. (2h 7m 40s) I have the bladder of a pregnant elderly woman. (2h 7m 44s) Like, no, I'm only I'm only three. (2h 7m 47s) It's just the the the bagging meat with non meat products. (2h 7m 50s) We can be already covered. (2h 7m 51s) So I just I crossed it out already. (2h 7m 52s) So, uh, from my, my last one here, uh, Ted Lasso. (2h 7m 57s) I hope you've at least seen this one. (2h 7m 59s) If you haven't seen this one, I'm, I, it's like, what the fuck? (2h 8m 3s) Yeah, I'm on that. (2h 8m 4s) That's tough because I wasn't too much of a fan of the last season. (2h 8m 7s) Uh, well, the last season was hurried. (2h 8m 9s) It was, it was, it was not a season. (2h 8m 11s) Yeah. (2h 8m 12s) And but I'm. (2h 8m 14s) I'm going to take the whole thing as a whole. (2h 8m 16s) Yeah, the first season was a fucking 10. (2h 8m 19s) Yep. (2h 8m 20s) But then again, it's not whether I like or dislike some. (2h 8m 24s) Mm hmm. (2h 8m 25s) You know, because I do feel that there's a lot of people that. (2h 8m 30s) Just like it because it's popular. (2h 8m 33s) Well, it's your perspective of it compared to their perspective of it. (2h 8m 38s) Yeah. (2h 8m 40s) I think I think it's under. (2h 8m 42s) I really do. (2h 8m 44s) I agree. (2h 8m 46s) Some of this also comes from like. (2h 8m 49s) He did that. (2h 8m 50s) I think he did that on SNL, like way back when like it was an American. (2h 8m 55s) It was it was an American coach. (2h 8m 59s) Comes to England, like it was it was either a skit there or something like it. (2h 9m 5s) It was done like a like years ago and then to see it. (2h 9m 11s) And I think he's shopped it around as a show. (2h 9m 14s) And nobody really picked it up until Apple did, and then to see it come to fruition. (2h 9m 21s) Um, it's like, it was a really good show. (2h 9m 28s) It was, and I don't care, it's underrated. (2h 9m 33s) Absolutely. (2h 9m 34s) I think most people that watch it agree with that. (2h 9m 36s) So cool beans, hand the baton to my co-host. (2h 9m 39s) I think Ted Lasso was one of the first shows. (2h 9m 44s) In a long time to make me fucking cry watching it. (2h 9m 48s) And it was when particularly his wife showed up. (2h 9m 54s) And he kind of came to terms with the divorce. (2h 9m 57s) Right there in front of all of us. (2h 10m 1s) I fucking teared up. (2h 10m 3s) I'm not afraid to admit it. (2h 10m 5s) You know, Macho Man says Macho Man will cry today. (2h 10m 9s) Tomorrow and a thousand more times. (2h 10m 12s) But the thing is, you gotta keep up. (2h 10m 15s) going on. And honestly, that's what that episode was. It was it was pretty incredible. (2h 10m 19s) So yeah, a huge fan of huge fan of Todaso. So I'm going to ask some completely unrelated shit. I added these two and then there's one on here that I don't know why it's on here. (2h 10m 33s) So I'm assuming Keith added it. You added that one, right? (2h 10m 38s) The top one. Yeah. Yeah. No, that was that that's relevant for Joe thing all right told me (2h 10m 45s) Should I save it to last prah it'll be it'll should be funny. I guess all right (2h 10m 51s) Unpader and unpaid or underrated lifting and jeans (2h 10m 57s) Depends on the jeans, but I'm gonna just go overall underrated. Oh what those rascal jeans. No, no, not the rascal. Yeah (2h 11m 6s) I know that that's what the whole that's what the whole (2h 11m 11s) That was the point of that of that post was (2h 11m 15s) I got those, I got those jeans at, well, maybe you know, at Costco. (2h 11m 20s) Those jeans, they are the Urban Star jeans at Costco. (2h 11m 25s) They're like, they're $12. (2h 11m 28s) >> The $12. (2h 11m 30s) >> I'm not gonna spend $40 or anything above that on pants. (2h 11m 37s) I'm cheap, they're not, well, I'll make an exception for lifts shorts, okay? (2h 11m 42s) But when it comes to... (2h 11m 45s) I've always been bigger and my jeans have always kind of split in the crotch. (2h 11m 52s) So why am I going to spend 60 bucks on pants that are only going to last me for a few months? (2h 11m 57s) So those kind of spandexy jeans that I got at Costco, they're $12. (2h 12m 4s) And I bought them through Costco.com. (2h 12m 7s) And when you add a certain number of garments, you get a certain amount off. (2h 12m 15s) And something like 10 pairs of pants for like 9 or 10 bucks or something. (2h 12m 21s) And I can squat in them. (2h 12m 24s) So rascals out here selling their pants for $60, $70 or whatever the hell they are. (2h 12m 31s) It's like this is probably the same shit just rebranded. (2h 12m 34s) I don't know. (2h 12m 37s) I have the most expensive pair of pants I own. (2h 12m 40s) I don't think I've ever talked about this in the podcast. (2h 12m 42s) I bought at the Arnold because I (2h 12m 46s) have to wear dress pants at work so I bought some bodybuilder dress pants and I'm not going to get into them. I got told those there. Yeah. Yeah. They were like suits and shit. Right. Yeah. Absolutely. And I will fucking tell you those accentuate every muscle you got. But they are not cheap. I'll never buy another pair again. Not going to name the company because like I actually have already I've already started tearing the seams. Which is interesting because the waste doesn't fit but my (2h 13m 15s) quads are blasting through them. So like what bodybuilder is this built for? Right. Even the waste doesn't fit but the quads don't like. So but yeah. Yeah. It gets out there. They see these clothing companies. Unless they're putting lift symbols on them. They're overcharging you. Okay. I'm gonna go with the next one. Hey, you like rocks? Do you like lifting rocks? And pater underrated. Because I heard you had a whole gym full of boxes. (2h 13m 45s) I have a lot of rocks. I have tons of rocks. Yeah. I bet. I did. Again. So fucking exciting for me. Yeah. Well, I think you know underrated underrated. Definitely. I love natural. Natural stone lifting. I think that was like one of the first interactions that Joey you and you and I had was. Yep. You tagged me in a post. (2h 14m 15s) And you said. I think you just started it was had to be episode one to three. And you were you said something like. Well, it was like. The first time I felt like an influencer, I guess. But you said something like. He's right. Why don't I? And you just want to lifted some rocks like your backyard or something. Right. So. So I lifted one. And Joey, you may not remember you commented. (2h 14m 45s) Rocks rocks. Yeah, rocks. And so. Yeah. So the next time I left it was like, Joey needs to see this. And then it was like, yeah, I think it was the first or second episode you. You had, you know, it was like in between there, you had started talking about like, man, you know, like, I see rocks on the side of the road and I want to go lift up and still to this day stuff. And it's like, yeah. And you know, my, my mother-in-law, they're they bought a house down here. And I. (2h 15m 15s) Lookin' (2h 15m 16s) through their yard, I was like, (2h 15m 18s) you got a really cool rock in it. (2h 15m 23s) Is it okay if I take that? (2h 15m 25s) And she was like, yeah, why is it special? (2h 15m 28s) I was like, well, it's about 130 pounds and I want it. (2h 15m 32s) - You know, it's such a weird, yeah. (2h 15m 36s) It's such a weird concept that like, (2h 15m 40s) you just, I want to lift that as a rock. (2h 15m 43s) It looks really heavy. (2h 15m 45s) Can I just lift that? (2h 15m 46s) And everybody around you is like, "What's wrong with you?" (2h 15m 49s) "What's like, check, just lift it. I just want to see how heavy it is. Can I lift it?" (2h 15m 54s) Yeah, like even this week, I don't get to be in the field all that much anymore. I write a lot of reports, but I've been in the field this week and there's been a lot of big rocks. (2h 16m 8s) So, you know, a lot of it's like construction workers are doing stuff and looking for things. (2h 16m 16s) I started moving some of these big rocks out of the way. And one of the excavator operators was like, "You're strong!" (2h 16m 25s) And I was like, "Thank you, sir." (2h 16m 31s) But it was in my way, though, so I just had to move it. (2h 16m 35s) You know, I have a tractor for that. No, you took too long, so I did it. (2h 16m 41s) Yeah, it's like he's got this excavator and I'm like, "You know what? Instead of using the bucket to scoop this." (2h 16m 46s) I'm going to lift it and throw it into there for me. (2h 16m 49s) Yeah, I've got the goals they hit. I'm going to do this myself. And yeah, it's funny because my dad built this entire garden in our front yard before I even moved up here. (2h 17m) And it's just full of these rocks. And I finally just spotted the one the one day. And I was just like, "I want that rock." (2h 17m 8s) And even he was like, "That's like a granite rock. That's not like a normal rock. That rock is heavier and denser than it looks." (2h 17m 16s) And I was like, "Good. That's the one I want." (2h 17m 20s) And he goes, "You know, when I got that, we had to have two people help me up into the pickup truck." (2h 17m 25s) And I was like, "Yeah, that's the one I want." And I carried it in the backyard and laid down and cried. (2h 17m 31s) It was so heavy. And I was like, "Yeah, I chose the right one. This is the guy. This is the guy." (2h 17m 38s) So I'm glad that one actually panned out. Does he like lifting rocks? I don't know. He has a garage full of rocks. (2h 17m 46s) And then before we knew that Big Hot was behind the orange glaze, he had that post about crew lifting rocks. (2h 17m 55s) And I was like, "I'm surely going to be in this one because I lifted rocks." And I didn't show up. I mean, I didn't know it was Big Hot that was behind it. (2h 18m 4s) I thought it was somebody else. That's a whole other story. How everyone was wrong on that one? (2h 18m 10s) Yeah, it's another thing about how scared I made myself that I had convinced myself it was this other thing. (2h 18m 16s) That I had messaged the orange glaze and said, "I'm sure you're this person." And I was like, "No, you're wrong." (2h 18m 28s) But keep trying or something. I was like, "Damn it." And I was somewhat relieved because I didn't really want to know. (2h 18m 36s) Anyways, there was that post. I was like, "Damn it." I was like, "Alright, that's it. I'm going out in my garage. I'm lifting this rock right now." (2h 18m 46s) When I took from my mother-in-law's garden. And I was inspired by orange glazes, posts, and lifted the rock. (2h 18m 56s) What's an orange glaze, son? (2h 19m) And Big Hot graced me with a video of my own lifting that rock, which is not my intention. I was just like, "Man, I wanted to be in with the other crew lifting rocks." (2h 19m 12s) Okay, this is the last one. I don't know why it's on here. (2h 19m 16s) I assume it's relevant. Let's hope that this goes somewhere. Unpader underrated. Pam Beasley. (2h 19m 24s) Pam Beasley. I bet my little brother put that on there because Pam Beasley. (2h 19m 32s) So she's from the American office. I don't know. Keith probably doesn't know who she is. (2h 19m 36s) No, I absolutely know. Oh, okay. Oh, it's me. It's me. I don't watch the office. (2h 19m 42s) okay so she's from the american office uh... she is the worst (2h 19m 47s) everybody everybody (2h 19m 51s) she was the one where it's like you know Jim was after her and she was dating Roy from the warehouse and you really wanted her and Jim to get together and then (2h 20m 1s) uh they did but then Pam had this issue she went to art school and then uh (2h 20m 8s) you know was a failure at that couldn't finish that (2h 20m 12s) just like she failed at her relationship with Roy at the warehouse (2h 20m 17s) And, you know, so she comes back and then, you know, Jim wants to go off and like, you know, make a better life for his family, her and everybody, you know, by starting this new being part of this new company. (2h 20m 35s) And she's giving him shit all the time about it. (2h 20m 39s) She's just the worst. (2h 20m 41s) She's the villain of the office. (2h 20m 44s) I can see that. (2h 20m 45s) Actually, I can see that. (2h 20m 47s) I'm what I have watched. (2h 20m 48s) Yeah. (2h 20m 49s) So you start out thinking Michael Scott is the bad guy. (2h 20m 55s) No, he's just stupid. (2h 20m 57s) He's just stupid. (2h 20m 58s) He's that like kind of lovable stupid. (2h 21m 2s) Pam Beasley is unpaid. (2h 21m 4s) She is the worst and everybody would probably have been better off in the office if she. (2h 21m 11s) And the fact, and the fact that. (2h 21m 14s) the fact that her for some reason. (2h 21m 17s) And this is the other thing that really grinds the knurling off my Texas power bar. (2h 21m 22s) They switch her mom for some reason in the seasons. (2h 21m 28s) It's like one season. (2h 21m 30s) It's one ladies her mom and then the next season. (2h 21m 34s) If there's a different lady that's her mom, it's like, come on, like continuity, folks. (2h 21m 40s) Yeah, that already bugged me. (2h 21m 41s) Did you enjoy when Michael banged her mom, though? (2h 21m 44s) though because he could like she was so devastated and pissed off by it did you (2h 21m 47s) a little like redemption of like ha fuck you you got it what was coming to you kind of thing or that that was pretty (2h 21m 54s) But but I yeah, but I did dislike that it was a different mom than the first (2h 22m) Ultimately this this show sounds like it sucks. So I (2h 22m 5s) Love I love the show. I I (2h 22m 8s) Think it's hilarious. I mean my my wife and I we used to play this game like (2h 22m 14s) office roulette where we would. (2h 22m 17s) Um, we wanted to watch office. (2h 22m 18s) We didn't care what episode and we just close our eyes and scroll one way, (2h 22m 22s) scroll the other way, scroll and click okay. (2h 22m 24s) And then whatever episode showed up, we would watch and we would just really enjoy. (2h 22m 30s) Yeah. (2h 22m 31s) Yeah. (2h 22m 31s) I feel like you can, you can do that more with office than a lot of other comedies too. (2h 22m 34s) Like I don't think the, the office, do that with ladder, Kenny. (2h 22m 38s) You'll have way more success. (2h 22m 39s) It's true. (2h 22m 40s) They have letter K has like almost no continuity. (2h 22m 43s) Like. (2h 22m 44s) masters (2h 22m 47s) right that brings it to an end I think you got uh you know you passed that is as joey likes to say you did pass a couple of cool beans and we'll hand it over to you if you got anything for us buddy yeah so I i think joey knows where i'm going so i'm gonna start with you Keith I have a question for each of you which I think will garner some sort of discussion and then maybe something that's a little bit serious goose that may just end up being a (2h 23m 17s) comment I don't uh so for you keith so uh in your putting together your vintage weight collect when you were doing this you know i'm i'm thinking back to some of the stories I hear from like a big rob on his vintage weights um podcast (2h 23m 47s) you know some of the older episodes of massonomics where tanner and uh tyler actually would go pick up what do you have any like interesting stories about like houses you went into to collect these weights or or just an experience of like buying up in all over the north east by and shit man it's been great i've got a I put a lot of time behind steering wheels to go get stuff uh I met a dude like I was working in albany so I was like I live in rochester I was working like three hours like I was staying in a hotel for my company like three hours away from here and then from there I was able to meet up with someone that was another like two and a half three hours away I think like and see if it's either kinetic at a Rhode island I don't remember which one and I just met him at like I think he even drove like an hour to meet me too because it was like I had such a long drive and it was like the dead a winner and we're just shooting this shit about vintage weights (2h 24m 47s) in like a 20 degree parking lot for like a half hour just freezing our asses off but like it was like you found that kindred spirit now that was one of the first times I actually bought something off another collector kind of and wasn't just like a wah-wah-wah uh as people call it like you know I didn't find it in the wild like I paid a I paid a I mean it was going rate but it was like a premium so um it wasn't like all the times where I would get shit at like 20 cents a pound and be like oh well that's definitely worth like the ten times that or whatever but uh just being able to actually talk to another human being in the world (2h 25m 17s) And this would have been like 2016 or maybe something like that. (2h 25m 21s) So it was like, you know, a long time ago before, like all, it was pretty any of the Facebook groups and like, all there was, was like the body building forum, which was just like, like, you had to fucking jump through hoops, even like, be able to create an account to be able to talk to other people. (2h 25m 35s) So like, I had like minimal to no communication with other collectors at the time. (2h 25m 40s) So being one of the first dudes actually just talked to for like a half hour about like gym equipment, about specifically, I bought. (2h 25m 47s) I think I bought two or three pairs of round heads that were like, you know, the bigger ones. It was like ones I needed. (2h 25m 56s) I might have even had to buy like more. I think I had to buy like four. I might have even had to buy multiple pairs, but I only needed like half of them. (2h 26m 4s) The other ones were duplicates that I did turn around and sell, but just talking to him. And I think he told me he had like four or five pairs of deep dish at the time. (2h 26m 11s) And I think at the time, I was like, oh, I didn't have any deep dish. And then I, you know, now I'm up to five pairs myself, which is pretty cool. (2h 26m 18s) But yeah, as far as like the best deals I've ever got, like I've paid fucking like 50 cents a pound for deep dish plates before that go for a thousand dollars a pair. (2h 26m 28s) Like, like that's pretty fucking cool. But a lot of those didn't really have good stories because I was just buying off people. They didn't really know what they had every now and then. (2h 26m 37s) But I did a lot of my, a lot of my milled plates. I bought off this old dude locally, like super old, and I ended up like saving his number and I would like to call him. (2h 26m 48s) Like once a year, actually, I think I had his nephew's number because he was like, so old, he wouldn't like text or anything. So I think he gave me his nephew's number. (2h 26m 54s) So I would text him once a year over the course of like five years to be like, it is so and so ready to let go of any more stuff because he was just downsizing his gym as he got older. (2h 27m 2s) I was really sad because the guy was like a, he was like a widower and he would always talk about his fucking deceased wife and I went to go buy stuff on him. (2h 27m 8s) So that always kind of like made me sad a ship, but he had a sick home gym and he like had his buddies over. And actually, this is actually a really good point. (2h 27m 17s) Anyone that follows my gym or, you know, follows me for you. I'm always getting, taking pictures with my friends, either in the gym or it meets and stuff like that. (2h 27m 27s) And I put them in magnetic photo frames and put them all over my duck work and all over my, my, my, my, my, I beam. (2h 27m 35s) So I've got literally like 300 pictures like in magnetic photo sleeves all over my gym. I got that idea from, I got that inspiration from this old dude's gym to like plaster my gym with pictures. (2h 27m 47s) Of my lifting events because he had an entire pegboard like Florida ceiling full of like power lifting meets from like 30 years. So that was a, that, that specific thing like that always stuck with me. (2h 27m 59s) I'm like, all right, I'm going to just plaster my walls and anything I can with like pictures of me and my friends lifting. (2h 28m 5s) So I've got like years of memories of doing that now. So. (2h 28m 8s) But yeah, I've been, I've been flipping away for years. It's definitely had some odd experiences buying stuff and like very seedy parts of town and. (2h 28m 17s) I was just kind of be going like, oh man, I don't, I'm not a guy that owns a gun, but I probably should have one in this situation. (2h 28m 22s) Yeah, I was wondering if you've met Eddie, like really strange folk. (2h 28m 28s) There's been some few. And I like, I don't know if it was just my, like I didn't really care, but I was never one to be like, if I was selling something because I've sold a lot too. (2h 28m 37s) And everyone's always like, oh, where do you want to meet up? And I'm like, I'm selling something, man. I'm not delivering it because I would be like, if you want me to drive somewhere, that's like an extra like 40 bucks. (2h 28m 47s) To sell you something that's like not work. Like, I know, like, if you want, I can fucking give you my address and put it on the porch. You can Venmo me or leave the money in the mailbox. If you're afraid, I'm going to fucking hurt you or something like. (2h 28m 57s) It's a contact for you to pick up, but like. (2h 29m) There are, yeah, I never really had the issue with like saying that is where I live. (2h 29m 4s) One thing that I found was funny. It was not necessarily vintage weights, but I would, I sold so much stuff one summer to like the same guy that he must have been building his gym up pretty good. (2h 29m 14s) And I think I sold him two different, like I've told him a couple different things over the course of that summer. (2h 29m 17s) And he randomly showed up to my house when I was like out in my driveway to want something. (2h 29m 21s) Because he, because he, when he got the address, he ended up, he was trying to buy something from someone like blocks away. (2h 29m 27s) And he was just in the neighborhood and was like, oh, this must, this must be from that guy. I'm just going to go to his house. (2h 29m 32s) And I was so confused when he showed up asking me to buy something. And I'm like, I don't, I might have actually even been meeting someone else to sell something like the exact same time. (2h 29m 41s) And that's what even made it funnier because like there were two people trying to show up. (2h 29m 44s) But I'm like, I know I didn't talk to you today. Why are you here? (2h 29m 47s) And he was like, Oh, no, you you were supposed to buy dumbbells. I was like, I don't have any dumbbells for sale, man. And he was like, Oh, shit. And I looked at this phone. He's like, Oh, yeah, it's like, it's like a mile away or something. I must have just automatically drove here because I thought it was close. (2h 29m 58s) But yeah, that's I do have a lot of home gym stories or a lot of buying gym equipment stories, but nothing really nothing other than what I've already mentioned really jumps out at the time. (2h 30m 7s) No. (2h 30m 9s) All right. (2h 30m 10s) So then big Joey. (2h 30m 13s) This is my quit. I wasn't going to go with the Mount Rush. (2h 30m 18s) Just because it seems like the sisters have stolen that they did didn't they yeah, and he acknowledged it on the podcast Yeah, so so if you notice there's a trend here (2h 30m 32s) I've noticed (2h 30m 36s) For a lot you know what it was I think it was crew falls (2h 30m 41s) So there was one where I made a joke earlier that I said something and they did it on the podcast and that (2h 30m 48s) It was crew falls and they were like oh, yeah, this is just now crew falls as cannon and I was like hey (2h 30m 54s) Right here. That was me (2h 30m 57s) But that's okay, man. Ask what you're gonna ask. Let's let them be damn so but but I think this is better (2h 31m 2s) Okay, so it's I'm painting on a radar. It's gotta be better (2h 31m 7s) You can you can choose these individuals from any time period in any era. Oh geez, but I write things down (2h 31m 15s) No, okay, I want you to build a stable (2h 31m 18s) of wrestlers. You have four, you can choose four wrestlers and you get one manager. So I want to hear the stable, I want to hear kind of why you're choosing that person, because obviously some people might not work together. (2h 31m 35s) And yeah, I want to hear your thoughts. (2h 31m 38s) Jesus. (2h 31m 40s) Wow, it's not often somebody stumps me. (2h 31m 44s) It's... (2h 31m 48s) >> I can go from any era in their prime. (2h 31m 51s) >> Mm-hm. (2h 31m 51s) >> Yeah. (2h 31m 52s) >> Okay, so we're obviously gonna go Bray Wyatt. (2h 31m 56s) But we're gonna go Bray Wyatt cult leader face. (2h 32m 4s) And he's gonna be the leader of the stable. (2h 32m 8s) We're gonna go gold dust. (2h 32m 10s) >> Nice. (2h 32m 11s) >> We're gonna go gold dust in the attitude era where he was so whole extravagant he may. (2h 32m 18s) We're going to go Raven. (2h 32m 22s) Raven's flock Raven. (2h 32m 24s) So Scott Levy is included in this. (2h 32m 27s) And the reason we're doing this is either all. (2h 32m 30s) All weird dudes weird cult leader. (2h 32m 36s) Kind of weird dudes. (2h 32m 39s) We're going to go. (2h 32m 42s) Well in mercy. (2h 32m 44s) From back in the 80s. (2h 32m 46s) in the 80s so whale immersive is going to be. (2h 32m 48s) come in there. He's going to be the muscle. He was a six foot tall. Just serial killer dude. (2h 32m 57s) He's going to be the muscle of this stable. So that's my four. (2h 33m 1s) And the reason we're picking these four is we've got the brains, very white cult leader. (2h 33m 8s) We got the weird dude that every cult has, which is the gold us. We've got. (2h 33m 16s) We've got everybody we need. (2h 33m 18s) Manager. (2h 33m 20s) Fuck me. (2h 33m 22s) Who's the best manager of all time? (2h 33m 25s) Taz. (2h 33m 27s) Taz. (2h 33m 29s) Taz has this thing about him where he was the... (2h 33m 33s) He... (2h 33m 35s) Taz is the greatest, in my opinion, the greatest. (2h 33m 39s) To do what he does. (2h 33m 41s) He was Samoa Joe before. (2h 33m 42s) Samoa Joe was Samoa Joe. (2h 33m 44s) He was solosacoa before solos, so he was roman rei- (2h 33m 48s) He was the ultimate, like, my only job is to beat the shit out of you. (2h 33m 55s) Yeah, and I still maintain that Taz is... (2h 33m 59s) When Taz came to WWF, you can watch that intro again and again on YouTube, and it will still give you goosebumps. (2h 34m 12s) Absolutely. (2h 34m 13s) - When that heart starts beeping and the music starts. (2h 34m 18s) - That will, I almost thought, (2h 34m 21s) not that I think he's a great manager at all, (2h 34m 24s) but just with the weirdness stuff that you're going with, (2h 34m 28s) like maybe the Jackal would have fit in. (2h 34m 32s) - The Jackal, yeah, yeah, yeah. (2h 34m 35s) - He was that guy that was like, (2h 34m 37s) we're gonna have intellectual intercourse and all this stuff. (2h 34m 40s) He was with the oddities for a while, (2h 34m 43s) so he's kind of like in that weird, (2h 34m 44s) but he wasn't all that great. (2h 34m 46s) No, but he's actually in a... (2h 34m 48s) Right now, he's Cyrus, they call him. (2h 34m 51s) He was also actually in ECW, the guy that represented the network back when they were trying to get kicked off of TNT. (2h 35m 2s) Whatever TNT was at a spike, I think they were called at the time. (2h 35m 7s) Yeah, spike. (2h 35m 8s) Yeah, I don't think Taz would necessarily be the best manager. (2h 35m 12s) I just, I don't really dig managers. (2h 35m 15s) don't think if you have a good front man you don't need a man to do. (2h 35m 18s) Yeah, and that's what sort of seemed like with Bray Wyatt, you may not need. (2h 35m 24s) Yeah, but also Bray Wyatt had a tendency to ramble and rabbit just talk too much. (2h 35m 32s) You know, keep in mind, um, I tried to say it earlier. (2h 35m 37s) Like he, he, he played the long game. (2h 35m 39s) So he might have been yapping too much, but if you ever watch, if you go back and check him out he he did this thing where he said (2h 35m 48s) in every interview I have done for the last 12 weeks or 12 years or whatever I there's a non sequitur phrase and what he did is he actually wrote a poem so he would go in there and talk about his opponent and then he would have a phrase that didn't matter to the opponent and he wrote an entire poem over those entire tea the fiend was actually born nine years ago so like that (2h 36m 18s) I said that guy was that guy was fucking wrong turn to in this job so I don't think like you necessarily I need like maybe Bobby heenan yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I'm in the brain heenan yeah like definitely if I was putting a stable together I'd be putting weird people together because I think that there's a mental aspect to wrestling as well you know I'd probably even put fuck what's his (2h 36m 48s) face now he's Darby Allen I'd put him in there for sure right like if I had to build like an NWO stable now where I just had limited access to people making the business different you know Darby Allen would be in their orange Cassidy would be in there got what's a weird dude yeah I can picture his face his face is everywhere he's in he's in AEW right now he's so nice he's so nice (2h 37m 18s) at the same time like that there's so many people I would put in there but if I was building a stable today that's why I would put in cool I didn't go with Paul Bearer as the link in the team be up your alley all there I mean he was good for what he did but he wasn't necessarily like he was instrumental to a storyline. Yeah, he introduced Kane. (2h 37m 48s) And I don't think that those guys necessarily contributed much to the movement of wrestling as much as they did the movement of the character. (2h 38m 18s) So I think, yeah, yeah, if I had to put together today based on how I feel, because honestly, like, I just miss Bray Wyatt right now and with the tattoos and things like that, that would be my thing, but I think if you ask me like the strongest table, the fastest table, the, the luchador stable, I think I'd have different answers, but no, definitely no, I want, I wanted that answer. (2h 38m 44s) your idea stable, yeah. (2h 38m 48s) Just all around. (2h 38m 50s) That's good. (2h 38m 51s) Are the tattoos the reason why you haven't used your new deadlift bar yet? (2h 38m 57s) Yes. (2h 38m 58s) Yeah, specifically got told, do not strain the skin. (2h 39m 3s) And I was like, well, I'm a weight lifter. (2h 39m 5s) And he was like, not this week. (2h 39m 6s) You aren't. (2h 39m 7s) And I went, noted, sir, like you noted. (2h 39m 12s) I've never used a deadlift bar. (2h 39m 14s) So I was. (2h 39m 15s) I was told specifically not strain the skin at all. (2h 39m 18s) No bench, no deadlift, nothing that you have to grip anything with. (2h 39m 25s) So I was like, I can squat. (2h 39m 26s) And he's like, as long as you don't use your hands. (2h 39m 29s) And I was like, well, I'm gonna. (2h 39m 31s) So I might as well just not at all at this rate. (2h 39m 34s) So yeah, I haven't lifted it all week. (2h 39m 36s) So I'm going to show you a Joey can't jerk off me. (2h 39m 39s) After this episode, I think. (2h 39m 46s) I thought that was funny. (2h 39m 48s) Yeah, it's real funny until you see it all pent up. I am right now. (2h 40m 6s) You got one more quick one. Yeah, and maybe this is too serious goose and if that's the case (2h 40m 15s) This could just be a comment type thing (2h 40m 19s) So Keith, I really enjoy how much you love cats, like just genuinely like how much they mean to (2h 40m 35s) like did you growing up? Did you have cats? Like how did this love for cats? (2h 40m 41s) Yep. Oh, always a cat household, never a dog household. (2h 40m 47s) I could probably let's see so I had (2h 40m 49s) my cat patches. We had her for like almost 25 years. She was like my cat. I have memories like, (2h 40m 55s) well, you know, I'm like, you have something that you were too young to remember, but like you remember people telling you. So then it like becomes a memory. So like, my dad always told me like, (2h 41m 4s) like, I was a toddler when she was a kid. And so we kind of grew up together. And like, she I'd be like running in the hall and just like, like pounce on me and knock me over and stuff. Because like, we were like the same size, I guess, by the time she, you know, grew up. So we had her for, (2h 41m 17s) you know from like my you know. (2h 41m 19s) Adolescence or from my child like my literally toddler era to like early 20s So I'm never putting her down, you know, we let her linger a little too long Like she got to where's like she wouldn't like, you know, bathe herself worth of shit And well hadn't hadn't actually hit the litter box in probably a year So I was always but it was my cat and my responsibility at that point to like (2h 41m 39s) You know always put the newspapers down around the litter box and all that so (2h 41m 43s) Then we had another cat Sebastian that kind of overlapped her probably like 10 years So that was funny, but they never. (2h 41m 49s) I never wanted to get multiple cats unless they were bonded already and like those two were an example of why not because it's like, it was almost pointless to have two cats because they fucking hated each other. (2h 42m) Well, the young boy, like would have been her best friend, but she was just setting her ways and was already a decade old when they introduced a kitten and she was like, this is my house fuck you. (2h 42m 8s) So, but yeah, always, you know, just always had cats would have probably gone almost a decade without any pets because we didn't get. (2h 42m 17s) Yeah, yeah, we got Gus. (2h 42m 19s) Maybe in our late 20s and, you know, he we lost him early this past year. So about it all just over a year ago now, honestly, I think if I had a guess, it's almost been looking exactly exactly year that we had to put him down. (2h 42m 33s) But he was our kid, you know, we're not, we're not going to have kids. We don't really want kids technically medical reasons, not safe for her to have kids. So, you know, a cat was kind of it for us. And, you know. (2h 42m 45s) One day we lost him it got really hard now we got the new kitten (2h 42m 49s) and it's you know they are they are kittens so they get into everything they just got introduced to the basement this past week one of them did get into the basement like a month ago but just freaked the fuck out and when it like did like one lap like smell on the wall going a shit and hit it hit under the treadmill until I could like pick it up and drag her out that's me coming into your gym - by the way the first time I see I'm just gonna fucking freak out nice but all this shit but now they're both now they're not the other one will go down there. (2h 43m 19s) Yeah, I don't know. I the one thing I kind of like about my so I go into I go into people's homes and apartments literally like I go into 50 apartments a day sometimes so I on average I see at least at least one or two cats a day that are actually friendly enough and come up to me so I pretty much almost almost every day I get to like pet a stranger's cat essentially so that's kind of a nice benefit to my job when I get that. I don't know I just I said just just growing up, you know, you are what you're you know you are which kind of grow up and I we didn't have dogs. (2h 43m 49s) I just went around our neighbors that had dogs were just shitty white trash people that just didn't take care of their dogs or the dogs in the neighborhood ran loose and we're just kind of like not treated well and they were like the outside dogs it just lived in a fucking candle and like never went inside so it was just like y'all almost look at it's like it's not even like a family pet it's just a thing they own that lives in the backyard so whereas I guess I was fucking my cat like fucking you know you sleep with your cat so there's always just a different scenario than what I was used to like I just you know just dogs in us. (2h 44m 19s) I just never got really close. I don't hate dogs. I mean I have friends that have dogs I'll pet a dog and all that but like a dog doesn't do anything for my heart where as a cat like every time I see a cat my heart jumps every time I see a dog I'm like are you gonna bite me? (2h 44m 31s) Do I have to kick you like what's what's gonna happen here? Yeah, okay. Yeah, I was just it was interesting because you know lots of people will be like oh I'm an animal person or this that but I think it was big episode where her cat jumped up and I could hear in your voice (2h 44m 49s) when you were like oh you know like this dude really actually cares about cats like it's not just like i'm a cat person over you know that that's sort of thing so it was just sort of interesting to me i've told multiple people in my life that I value a cat's life more than theirs and they don't they don't take it well I can I can see why though like I can see why (2h 45m 14s) Luckily, I live in a I work in a place sorry not living a place I work (2h 45m 19s) where dogs get trained, where we work, we're right next to a dog training facility, so I have the luxury of people bringing in dogs that are being trained to be service dogs. (2h 45m 33s) And if they're young enough, you get to say, "Hi, are you socializing?" (2h 45m 38s) And they will go, "Yes, please, come pet this puppy. (2h 45m 42s) And have you ever heard the best fucking phrase in your life, "Yes, please come pet this puppy?" (2h 45m 49s) Because otherwise, service dogs are forbidden dogs. (2h 45m 52s) Or is there forbidden dogs? (2h 45m 53s) You know, nope, you're at work. (2h 45m 55s) I appreciate you, support everything you do, sir. (2h 45m 59s) But yeah, cats are the same time too. (2h 46m 2s) Like you gotta come meet Steve's cats. (2h 46m 4s) At some point, you're gonna have to come up here and meet these fucking vicious, (2h 46m 10s) feral, psychotic animals that are Steve's serval cats (2h 46m 16s) or Savannah cats or whatever they are. (2h 46m 18s) Um, (2h 46m 19s) and when I say that, I mean, no, they're adorable dummies that just want to cuddle and probably bite you a little bit, but like in that way that you're just like, hey, stuff in. (2h 46m 30s) No, are you talking about cats or just that's that sound like you described like 80% of crew. (2h 46m 35s) No, no, no, if anybody from if anybody from crew is biting you, you should probably be checking their card. (2h 46m 43s) No, your nibble and it's not a bad thing sometimes. (2h 46m 49s) Oh, I mean, it was taken like the, the, the, the drugs. (2h 46m 54s) Sip of the spin drift and oh my god. (2h 46m 56s) You know what's funny is when I was down at Trader Joe's, I saw the spin drift and was like, I'm not buying that shit. (2h 47m 2s) That's weird. (2h 47m 3s) I'm glad I had the right decision. (2h 47m 5s) But I opted out. (2h 47m 6s) There was when I was down at Target, the watermelon liquid death. (2h 47m 11s) So liquid death apparently has just like gone into everything. (2h 47m 15s) It just like like flavored fucking everything and (2h 47m 19s) I was like I want one of those. I don't want to hold 12 of those so I opted out of it (2h 47m 25s) So if anybody like wants to go ahead and buy some liquid death watermelon (2h 47m 34s) That's yeah, that's the one I'm talking about (2h 47m 36s) Yeah, I had it the 7/11 by my work had it and they for some reason now they have 20 ounce cake (2h 47m 44s) Yes, yes, that's actually yeah So I keep bringing them to the podcast thinking I'm going to open one. (2h 47m 49s) of these, but the damn things, the size of my forearm, like I'm not ready for that. (2h 47m 56s) Like I'm not quite prepared. (2h 48m) Not ready for the one he always can. (2h 48m 3s) Fucking things the size of a missile. (2h 48m 4s) Like I'm not here for that. (2h 48m 6s) That's actually why I keep saying I've got liquid death this week, but I'm not opening it because I just don't have the time or patience to drink that much water. (2h 48m 15s) There's beer to drink. (2h 48m 17s) All right. Is there anything? (2h 48m 19s) else we want to get to? Any of more wrestling? Is that all your questions, Andrew? (2h 48m 25s) No, I mean, I had a serious one for you. And feel, I mean, hit me, hit me. (2h 48m 31s) You don't you don't have to answer it. I just I genuinely enjoy being a dad. It's one of the greatest things in my life. And I can tell that you do too. Yeah, I can tell that not only are you a good dad you genuinely enjoy. (2h 48m 49s) You know, I was just thinking about like little things that I always knew that I wanted to be a dad and wanted to have kids and to show them this or that or to it, but there are little things that I catch myself that like I didn't realize where I didn't realize I would love so much. (2h 49m 19s) Taking my daughter to gymnastics class and seeing her eyes light up as she's doing, you know, doing her gymnastics or, you know, my son just had his birthday and, you know, just seeing how like proud of himself. (2h 49m 37s) He was that he was wearing this like birthday. You know, these are things that when I had envisioned previously what being a dad would look like. (2h 49m 49s) I would be like, they're just like little things that I didn't realize. And you'd spoken about something before about taking your son to like a botanical garden or something like how that was something that's special to you. (2h 50m 3s) But I didn't know if there was, you don't have to answer it. You know, this could just be a comment. But if there's anything like little thing that you didn't realize that is just really special to you. (2h 50m 16s) And if you don't want to, I just wanted to say it. (2h 50m 20s) thing that I really. You what I see. (2h 50m 27s) Yeah, I don't want to always do this. Well, it was endless. This this this sappy serious. (2h 50m 34s) You guys got to bring some at least one comedy question, guys. (2h 50m 37s) I know this is a good one. (2h 50m 41s) So, you know, being a parent is (2h 50m 45s) you're confronted with a lot of your own impatience. You're a A lot of ear confronted with that. (2h 50m 50s) A lot of your own, like, fuck, how do I deal with this hard thing, right, like your child annoying you and you know it's just a child and you can't deal with it. (2h 51m 5s) And then one day I was reading a story from somebody who had lost their children. (2h 51m 11s) And they said specifically that their child used to love slamming the screen door. (2h 51m 20s) And we got so mad, we got so frustrated, and then our kid died, and goddamn I would wish that kid would slam that door one more time. (2h 51m 34s) That's all they wanted us to hear that kid slam that door one more time. (2h 51m 39s) I approach parenthood with that same approach. (2h 51m 44s) My own. (2h 51m 51s) I think right now my favorite part of being a father is genuinely. (2h 52m 20s) I hate when he hurts his sister. (2h 52m 24s) He's four, she's two, and he's just mean to her sometimes. (2h 52m 28s) And I understand that that's like kid brain, like they don't understand better, but like I just want to teach you to be better, like don't hurt your sister, don't do that. (2h 52m 38s) So ultimately I just, I love when they show me something they're excited about. (2h 52m 45s) That's it. That's it. Daddy show, read me this book. (2h 52m 50s) This book sucks. But you want me to read it again for the third time today? I'll try them and I'll get through it. I'll do my best because it's your favorite book right now. (2h 53m 3s) Hey, Daddy, that song you played earlier. Earlier I posted on Instagram, Diggy Diggy Hole from fucking Wind Rose. It was some stupid song. I am a dwarf and I'm digging a whole diggy, diggy, whole, dig, dig and whole. And my kids sing that to me. (2h 53m 20s) Because they want to listen to it with me. Well, hell yeah, buddy. We're going to put that on again (2h 53m 25s) and again and again. And we're going to experience this same thing together. It's (2h 53m 33s) the same reason my wife loves me. It's when somebody is so passionate about something they want to share with you. That's all they want to talk to you about for a few minutes. (2h 53m 44s) Yeah, maybe that's what I'm getting at too. That excitement just (2h 53m 50s) loving seeing their excitement. Yeah. I didn't expect. I never would have expected that. Like, (2h 53m 58s) "Daddy, look at these fish. They're fucking dumb fish. Who cares?" But he has never seen fish before (2h 54m 5s) and I will bring you to those fish every chance I get to get that excitement again. (2h 54m 12s) Yeah, very good. That's my question for you again. Sorry, that was way too serious. (2h 54m 18s) Yeah, so if (2h 54m 20s) is there something funny like I have this game we like to play. I think we're good either. What think we just we just hit the three hour mark boys. Oh, well, all right, Keith, what do you think of? We did. We did it. We did it. Yeah, he is the coop of comedy. Not even that can say that like well, yeah, because he had only he sold out. I think he's always been who he is. So that was a bad analogy. I don't know. I don't want to talk about welfare. He's not funny. (2h 54m 50s) He's kind of he's funnier than Big Matt. Oh, yeah, he probably has more followers than that. (2h 54m 57s) Oh, I had the totally ruined it. You know, I had a bunch of questions for Big Matt. (2h 55m 3s) I thought he was going to be here. Well, we like it if he was here, but he just opted out. You just (2h 55m 10s) what's what's one all answer format? I know I know him and I, you know, we got to know. Okay, (2h 55m 15s) Okay, but only if you do a Boston accent. Oh God. (2h 55m 20s) Here we go improv improv time. (2h 55m 22s) I can't even because I'm just going to raise my voice and my wife is going to already be pissed because I have 11 30. (2h 55m 29s) Mav wad. (2h 55m 32s) No, I, but I do think it's hilarious. (2h 55m 35s) My little brother is sending me mostly squat videos and he, my little brother doesn't lift. (2h 55m 39s) He doesn't follow any of that stuff. (2h 55m 42s) And he said in me mostly squat videos. (2h 55m 44s) I'm like, yeah, this, this dude's in our discord. (2h 55m 47s) He never shows up to the podcast. (2h 55m 48s) What the... (2h 55m 50s) That's great. (2h 55m 51s) What's that feel with not showing up to the podcast? (2h 55m 53s) Alright guys, where do we find you? (2h 55m 56s) I'm getting them on in the future. (2h 55m 57s) Where do we find you? (2h 55m 58s) Keith, give us where we find us. (2h 56m) So website, unpaid. (2h 56m 1s) Fucking orange glasses. (2h 56m 2s) You're still wearing those fucking orange glasses. (2h 56m 5s) I have taken them on and off a few different times. (2h 56m 7s) Fuck off. (2h 56m 8s) You're gonna hurt yourself man. (2h 56m 10s) Unpaidinterrinpodcast.com. (2h 56m 13s) I'm Big Keith. (2h 56m 14s) You can find me. (2h 56m 15s) Keith only got 73. (2h 56m 16s) You go follow my orange gym. (2h 56m 17s) They know Wine Cellar. (2h 56m 18s) Go follow Mr. Big Andrew Garrison. (2h 56m 21s) I met... (2h 56m 22s) You can follow me at Clawtron, C-L-A-W-T-R-O-N on Instagram. (2h 56m 29s) I think I'm pretty funny. (2h 56m 30s) I don't post very much but... (2h 56m 32s) You like drugs? (2h 56m 34s) Yeah, I like drugs. (2h 56m 36s) We all love it. (2h 56m 37s) Uh, and I'm on the Discord. (2h 56m 42s) So, um, get Big Garrison Andrew. (2h 56m 46s) Perfect. (2h 56m 48s) And Joey, where are you at buddy? (2h 56m 50s) I'm Discord. (2h 56m 51s) Let's go. (2h 56m 52s) M-L-E-C-Z-K-O. (2h 56m 53s) And again, apparently most of you aren't following me. (2h 56m 56s) And that's kind of fucking hilarious. (2h 56m 58s) Like I have guests coming up in the next two weeks that don't follow me. (2h 57m 2s) So that was interesting to find out. (2h 57m 6s) And also I'm just Big Joey on the original Big Joey. (2h 57m 10s) There's other Big Joey. (2h 57m 11s) There's a... (2h 57m 12s) I think there's like three now. (2h 57m 13s) There's more than two. (2h 57m 15s) Yeah. (2h 57m 16s) But I'm the OG. (2h 57m 17s) Alright boys. (2h 57m 18s) We'll see you next Tuesday.
